I come here once a month for a break away from my regular routine at home! A taxi from the hotel into brighouse is reasonable & the boutique shops and coffee/wine bars are lovely to visit along with sitting by the canal/river calder feeding the Swans/ducks etc. The hotel does make your stay though as the reception staff & behind the scenes staff (cleaners etc) cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Short stay weekend away. Hotel quiet , but clean. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly, and helpful. Obe in room found clean, comfortable and well stocked. Even when had an issue with the tv, reported straight away and was dealt with quickly and promptly. Breakfast-fantastic and worth the money. Plenty of choices from cereal, drink, pastries to hot cooked meal. Worth every penny and staff great. Theirs a pub at the top of the car park which is worth a vist. As the hotel is off the main road, your need some form of transport, but worth the views though.

I stayed with my family for one night as we was visiting an attraction nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. Tried to check in an hour early but would have been an extra £15 so I decided against it. Check-in was very easy and lift to our room. I had requested a room at the back as heard from previous guests that the road noise at the front can be a problem. Our family room overlooked the river. It was the biggest family room we have stayed in and we have used Premier Inn a lot!!! Lots of space, storage, and facilities like iron, hairdryer, tea, and coffee. The bed was comfortable, and we all slept well. The room was very clean, lots of towels and plenty of soap. Breakfast was nice. We were seated quickly, and the continental food was topped up regularly. It didn't feel too busy. Hot food was to order, and my preference is buffet style, but that is minor. The food was tasty and plentiful. We used the Old Mill next door for dinner but that was quite expensive for the food. Overall, it was a great stay, especially for the cheap price we got as booked in advance, and if in the area again, we would definitely stay again. The electric car charger in the parking area was a massive bonus also.

Premier Inn provided another great stay, highlighted by exceptional service from Duty Manager Marek. While the heating in my assigned room was faulty, Marek's response was exemplary. He promptly apologized, offered a different room, and even followed up with a complimentary bottle of red wine later that evening. This level of care and attention demonstrates Marek's dedication to customer satisfaction and makes him a truly valuable asset to the company. The breakfast was also fantastic!

The car park is full of thick heavy black mud so everyone is filthy when they walk through the front door. Friendly staff member. The room standards were as clean as the car park outside (see images). There was spattered blood on the ceiling above the bed. There were thick cobwebs above the desk on the wall/ceiling. The chair was broken so popped up and down when you sat on it. There were huge gaps in the skirting board in the bathroom letting all kinds of things crawl out at night. The toilet paper was sheets (not seen that since primary school!). The mirror was placed in a corner facing the desk so was useless and the wifi was so poor I had to pay the £5 upgrade to be able to watch Netflix. I did go down to reception twice but both times were unmanned so no one to help be switch rooms and throughout the night when the heating switched on a load bang was waking me up bouncing off the radiators to announce their heat status

Lovely room with windows that open for ventilation and fresh air. More Premier Inns should offer this basic amenity. We enjoyed a cool and relaxing night's sleep as a result. Additionally, friendly staff and smooth check-in. Would definitely return.
