Apartamentos Comfort Calella

Before the pandemic, I was a frequent guest of these apartments. I really liked everything, especially the silence, privacy and the opportunity to cook on my own. There are enough positive reviews about the apartments from that period, including mine. On my last visit at the end of October 2022 I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The first negative point is that it became very NOISY. This also applies to the vacationers themselves and the staff, who, when cleaning the apartments, for some reason consider it possible to start moving furniture at 8 in the morning and talk loudly in the halls of the floors. The staff does not think about the comfort of their guests. In my understanding, comfort is, first of all, silence and the absence of annoying sounds in the form of moving furniture. The second thing that really upset me was the creaking beds. I had to ask the staff to correct this misunderstanding. I'm not a capricious or spoiled person. But when you toss and turn in your sleep, you can hear it two floors down and up. On the positive side, I can note that for some reason a washing machine appeared in the apartments. An oven would be better. Cleaning before check-in is very mediocre. Small things disappeared upon check-in: new cloths, dish sponge, paper towels. When moving in, I noticed the hood, which had a thick layer of dust on it. General cleaning has been a long time coming. To summarize, I can say that a lot of little things appeared that interfered, irritated and did not contribute to normal rest. They are not global, but it would be better if the staff paid more attention to such little things and checked the apartment before checking in to see if everything was in place. After all, the main thing is in the details. The price of accommodation has become significantly lower and this has affected primarily the quality of accommodation due to the large flow of people wishing to relax and feel the “COMFORT” of living in an apartment. It's a shame that the favorite holiday destination in Calella is no longer so. Despite my negative review, I wish the hotel staff success and prosperity. I hope the criticism will be heard by the staff and taken into account in further work.
