Was there at the end of May. Good hotel. Very nice staff. Friendly attitude. There were many Spanish pensioners who went on excursions.
Very tasty and varied breakfast.

Partner booked it for Ironman. In terms of that, great location and atmosphere for Ironman. Hotel was clean, friendly staff and entrance/downstairs area really nice but the rooms need updating. I feel they are a bit stuck in time and missing some easy things like a full length mirror. Also, the room is not sound proof. I don’t know if due to the walls or the door but I could hear any conversation of people walking down the hallways. Luckily, everyone is staying there for the same room during Ironman so it was quiet for the night before that :)

We booked this hotel last minute had never been to Calella before and can definitely say this hotel is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Room service daily with plenty of shops, restaurants and beach within a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Overall I've had a great stay in the Mar Blau. I was on a spontaneous beach holiday with a friend after my other holiday was cancelled. Went to Calella not really knowing much about it previously but it's a nice town with good restaurants and nice bars and clubs. The hotel itself is fairly modern, good value for the money. The rooms are simple but spacious and clean, the balconies offer a nice view over the town. Food is really good, even with a small buffet there's food for everyone to enjoy and a great salad bar, lots of choices to pick and mix. I'd go to this hotel again if I'm back in the region. Was a really pleasant stay

This hotel is not new, but it is very well-maintained. Our room was clean and spacious with a balcony and comfortable bed. It was a 5-minute walk to the beach/centre. The staff were friendly and efficient. The pool area was very good. The breakfast buffet was good, the dinner could have been better but was OK for the price. Drinks prices were affordable.

The Mar Blau hotel is perfect. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The rooms are good and the hotel is in excellent condition. The bed is really comfortable. The food is of a very good standard and the buffet is well managed. The staff are all courteous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely book here again. A very lovely relaxing place to stay.

A clean hotel in the 3 star category. All in all, you can recommend the hotel for a relaxing holiday here in Calella. The rooms are functional and clean. The staff is friendly and the pool is nice too. It is an 8-minute walk to the beach, which is separated by a railway line, but there is an underpass and opportunities to pass. The beach section is spacious and clean. An ideal place to plan your excursions and activities. The food on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner is varied, fresh and, in my opinion, good, you can always find something and get full. If necessary, there are countless restaurants in the area. The pool bar staff do a good job and they were friendly and professional at all times. Clear recommendation.
