Castillo Playa

I loved this place so ok they are dated but they are clean bed we had single very comfortable pillows comfy too always clean towels everyday and the cleaners are so hard working they change your bed every 3 days or if you ask everyday.the bar is lovely the ladies are so hard working and always happy to have a chat 5 ltr water 2 euros ask for the sunbed cusions dont buy them they have lots of them..the pool is lovely heated ive been in some cold pools this is not cold, Miguel the manager is very accommodating we moved apartments as we had noisey neighbours it happens.make sure you visit the happy mondays bar and the chocolate box cheap drinks the slow boat for the Chinese buffet goose and firkin nice bar excellent fruitti de mare and sanmigel go check it out for yourself it can be windy i needed a jacket in the evenings we stayed a month sad to leave I will go back 😀

Just back from castillo playa this is never a 2 star I would give it 3 star , great friendly place to stay all staff where fantastic , kitchen staff work very hard , food and drinks are value for money , we stayed in 807 the accommodation was exceptional clean and value for money , met some lovely people who were all very friendly , the accommodation was only 5 mins from the nightlife and secure gates using a fob all in all was a great few days away.

The Birthday trip. We came here on boxing day for my wife's 60th birthday , as usual we were greeted with a smile , the front of house wished mags a happy birthday and gave us the keys to 714 our favourite spot , I cannot say enough good about this place i love it , basic bungalows but a massive friendly atmosphere, the bar staff are so nice and well mannered. They also do a mean pizza , I have been told that it is currently up for sale and if they do sell it hope they don't over renovate it as they will take the soul out that is castillo playa bungalows, it's like a small community and we will be back in March, we are on our last day now still time for last minute any questions please ask.let me also tell you about Berty the dove if you are around 714 he will come calling he has a drooping wing and a limp give him a few crumbs and he will be very happy .

Arrived early on Christmas Eve and our room was ready which proved to be the start of an exceptional holiday. Positives: Friendly staff, even the maintenance guys. Very clean throughout Reasonably priced food and drink Beds very comfortable Very good kitchen facilities ( even the cleaning pack ) was a very good touch 5/6 English TV channels Perfect location Very secure Very quiet Clean towels provided every day/room cleaned every day Plenty of sun beds around the swimming pool Plenty of storage for clothes/shoes etc Very good WiFi Negatives Only 1, and that was the settee in the lounge was slightly uncomfortable, however this by no means had a negative effect to our holiday All in all I would rate this 9/10! In fact we booked for Xmas 2025 within our first couple of hours of arriving. It says something when you speak to people around the complex who have been staying there for the last 10 years plus Thank you to all for a fabulous holiday, And we wish you a successful 2025! Arrived at the Castillo Playa bungalows and was given the room key and shown where are room was located. Room was very clean and we received a bottle of wine and a bottle of water and also a basket of fruit.Large fridge with freezer and two ring hob and all the usual self catering equipment. Patio area was large with chairs and table and two private sun beds.There are also a suitable amount of sun beds near the pool, perfect if your patio is in the shade The pool area and pool are exceptionally clean and the maintenance team do a fantastic job of keeping the grounds neat and tidy. The bungalow is cleaned six out of seven days with fresh towels on those days and new sheets. Wi-if is very good and safe costs €15 for the week and tv has English channels and also Air conditioning in the room Pool side snack bar is open from 0900 - 2200 and is reasonably priced for food, drinks and take-away. Fantastic complex and only five minutes from beach, supermarket and bars Will definitely return

Excellent bungalows go 3 times a year from checking in to the maid service brilliant. The pool bar does excellent food to eat in or take away will be back again in march. rooms are very clean with every thing you for a light lunch beds really comfy and great pillows
