I was a little apprehensive after reading some earlier reviews, but needn't have been. Yes there a few things that need attention , but few hotels are 100% perfect. We checked in around 9.30 pm and was given a carrier with sandwiches, biscuits, fruit and water a nice little touch. Our bedroom seemed to have been recently decorated , as did the corridors, and public rooms. We had decent sized bathroom with a newly fitted hairdryer, bath with shower over and plenty of storage. The bedroom was large with 2 single beds and a bedsetee if a third person was sharing. A large double wardrobe with safe (extra charge) and plenty of storage, extra pillows on duvets (not needed ). Dressing table with a large mirror , 2 bedside tables, plenty of sockets and flat screen TV ( this can be easily used without a remote using the toggle button in the power switch, the only English channel is BBC news) There was also a furnished balcony, with a clothes dryer. Two large pools downstairs with a small kiddies pool. You'll also find a kiddies club, games room, table tennis, darts and a pool table plus a gym and an indoor multi purpose sports court. Most of these have organised events / competitions if you want to take part , but there is no pushyness to do so. The usual towel ,brigade however seem to get up at silly o'clock to reserve the beds with the sun , and as usual the majority still have the towels on them at lunch time and the beds still unused. We spent our time when in the hotel, and not on the beach ( an easy 10 minutes walk ) or out and about, on the adults only room terrace, this has 2 pools one about 1/2 metre deep and the other more like a padding pool. There could do with being more sunbeds up there as they are soon taken, but we always seemed lucky and got a couple. You also find a few settees up there, toilets and a help your self bar. Soft drinks, juices, beer and wine , although while there the wine dispensers never worked, but that didn't bother us , the beer was nicely chilled. Be warned there is very little shelter up there and does get very hot, also a few people ignore the signs and take children up , although they soon advised by other guests that it is adults only. We had no problem with the food, for breakfast , there's cereals, meats, cheeses , yoghurt, salads , and everything you need for the full English. The eggs are freshly cooked, and omelette cooked to order. Obviously they have to cater for nationalities, so some scrabbled eggs had onions and peppers, and aswell as normal sausages there was hotdog sausages , and some mushrooms were cooked in garlic. Bit easily see this when choosing. The only complaint we heard , was only 1 toaster. We only had lunch 2 or 3 times, but there were salads, freshly cooked meat and fish, burgers sometimes, chicken nuggets chips etc , and Sunday they had a BBQ on the terrace. Evening meal consisted of salads, including different types like Russian salad, coleslaw, cheeses ,c
