I was a little apprehensive after reading some earlier reviews, but needn't have been. Yes there a few things that need attention , but few hotels are 100% perfect. We checked in around 9.30 pm and was given a carrier with sandwiches, biscuits, fruit and water a nice little touch. Our bedroom seemed to have been recently decorated , as did the corridors, and public rooms. We had decent sized bathroom with a newly fitted hairdryer, bath with shower over and plenty of storage. The bedroom was large with 2 single beds and a bedsetee if a third person was sharing. A large double wardrobe with safe (extra charge) and plenty of storage, extra pillows on duvets (not needed ). Dressing table with a large mirror , 2 bedside tables, plenty of sockets and flat screen TV ( this can be easily used without a remote using the toggle button in the power switch, the only English channel is BBC news) There was also a furnished balcony, with a clothes dryer. Two large pools downstairs with a small kiddies pool. You'll also find a kiddies club, games room, table tennis, darts and a pool table plus a gym and an indoor multi purpose sports court. Most of these have organised events / competitions if you want to take part , but there is no pushyness to do so. The usual towel ,brigade however seem to get up at silly o'clock to reserve the beds with the sun , and as usual the majority still have the towels on them at lunch time and the beds still unused. We spent our time when in the hotel, and not on the beach ( an easy 10 minutes walk ) or out and about, on the adults only room terrace, this has 2 pools one about 1/2 metre deep and the other more like a padding pool. There could do with being more sunbeds up there as they are soon taken, but we always seemed lucky and got a couple. You also find a few settees up there, toilets and a help your self bar. Soft drinks, juices, beer and wine , although while there the wine dispensers never worked, but that didn't bother us , the beer was nicely chilled. Be warned there is very little shelter up there and does get very hot, also a few people ignore the signs and take children up , although they soon advised by other guests that it is adults only. We had no problem with the food, for breakfast , there's cereals, meats, cheeses , yoghurt, salads , and everything you need for the full English. The eggs are freshly cooked, and omelette cooked to order. Obviously they have to cater for nationalities, so some scrabbled eggs had onions and peppers, and aswell as normal sausages there was hotdog sausages , and some mushrooms were cooked in garlic. Bit easily see this when choosing. The only complaint we heard , was only 1 toaster. We only had lunch 2 or 3 times, but there were salads, freshly cooked meat and fish, burgers sometimes, chicken nuggets chips etc , and Sunday they had a BBQ on the terrace. Evening meal consisted of salads, including different types like Russian salad, coleslaw, cheeses ,c

Currently here. The only negative we have is the sun doesn’t kiss all of the pool areas as the sun isn’t as high in the sky at this time of year. Hardly the hotels fault. Room is clean, food is nice something for everyone and drinks selection good. My only gripe they keep running out of cava. Excellent location so a short stroll to the beach in 5-10mins. Shops bars and restaurants within 5 mins. Will defo be returning next Xmas and New year.

We just returned home from a lovely week at Chatur Costa Caleta. Everyone working at the hotel were lovely always smiling and gave a lovely greeting. Our Room was on the 3rd floor with lovely ocean and mountain views. It was lovely and clean and housekeeping was regular 5 days a week. The food and drink were great always fresh meat and fish being cooked by chefs, wonderful soups everyday lovely fresh bread salad etc. perfect even for a fussy eater. The rooftop was wonderful views fabulous would have been great if the pools up there had been open however it was under repair. Nevermind the main pools downstairs were open. Maybe n xt visit they will be. Huge thankyou to everyone at Chatur Costa Caleta for a wonderful relaxing week at your hotel with every need catered for. Merry Christmas to you all see you again soon.

We recently stayed at the Costa Caleta for 11 nights and had an overall positive experience. The hotel is very nice, and the staff are truly amazing. They are friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond with their cleaning standards. Our room was spotless, with bedding and towels changed multiple times during our stay. The pool area was also exceptionally clean, with numerous deep cleans carried out throughout our visit. That said, some of the sunbeds felt a bit too close to each other, which might be uncomfortable for some guests. The all-inclusive breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options, including English breakfast choices. We didn’t try the lunch as breakfast kept us full, but the evening meals, while decent, became a bit repetitive—typical for a European all-inclusive. If you’re having the chef’s cooked meats, make sure to ask for them well done. Being in Spain, meats can sometimes come out tough and undercooked (or too rare) if not prepared properly. One major issue was the soup. The lack of a blender meant that soups were more like stews with large chunks of vegetables or meat. Also, advertising “vegetable soup” with meat included is misleading and could be frustrating for vegetarians. The pool area, while clean, was let down by the overly loud music. People come on holiday to relax, not to listen to cheesy music blasting all day. On top of that, the hosts constantly trying to get guests to join in activities like pool games, yoga, or ping pong became annoying. Not everyone is interested, and being repeatedly asked is intrusive—please tone this down. The upstairs terrace was a mixed experience. While it was great for sunbathing, none of the pools were operational, and only beer was available on the dispensers. This was fine for me, but not ideal for others in my group. Similarly, the downstairs jacuzzi wasn’t working, and the drink dispensers were out of service throughout our stay. Another major disappointment was the heated pool situation. Despite being advertised as heated for the winter, it wasn’t consistent. At times, neither pool was heated, which was frustrating. Reading past reviews, it seems maintenance has been delayed for some time, and unfortunately, this continued during our visit. To receive 5 stars, the hotel really needs to address a few key issues: • Fix the pools and heat them in the winter as advertised. • Blend the soup properly for a smoother consistency. • Ensure all drink machines work, as paying for all-inclusive loses its value when these are unavailable. • Turn down the pool music so guests can relax. • Be less pushy with activity hosts—let guests enjoy their holiday on their terms. In summary, the Costa Caleta is a good hotel for the price, offering clean facilities and excellent staff service. While we would return in the future, we hope to see these improvements made to enhance the experience further.

I booked this holiday back in June for a very reasonable price through a Jet2 package. It was really lovely, we visited with our 4&6 year olds and were all inclusive. The staff were lovely, particularly Valentino. She was really interactive with my kids and updated us on all of the activities coming up. The hotel was really quiet which was nice and there was no fighting over sunbeds in the morning. The food was nice too. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back! My only suggestions would be a drinks menu for the all inclusive alcoholic drinks as I wanted to try a few different things but didn’t know the options so just stuck to what I knew. And chicken nuggets pizza for kids each meal time. And would have really liked the coffee machine to stay on through the other meals in the restaurant (there was on the outside bar). But would be nice to have one in a proper cup with a meal/desert. Room was lovely and cleaners were fab and always cleaned when the brochure said they would. Reception staff and most bar staff speak good English. There are so many shops near by and bars/cafes and it’s a very short walk to the beach where you can watch a free sea lion show. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stayed for a week all inclusive which was great, all the staff were pleasant and hard working. However there were things that weren't so good. The food was good for buffet service, but if the buffet ran out it wasn't replenished. They did cook fresh food on a grill while you waited which was lovely, but badly positioned as was the soup ,which was in the middle of 2 sections which meant leaning across somebody or pushing in,which was ridiculous. Most of the time there wasn't enough crockery or glasses and you walked around searching. The pool area was good but the sunbeds were non adjustable with no parasols at all,so if you wanted shade you had to sit by the restaurant with all the smokers. There were plenty of bars but only one open at anytime which meant queuing especially at night and this was right by a door so you couldn't get in or out easily or safely. There's a lovely adults only roof top area,( but several children up there and in the pool). There was a bar which was self service possibly ,but you could only get soft drinks and again if it ran out it wasn't replaced .There is a mini golf but was closed off,so that was disappointing as we were looking forward to trying it. Rooms are basic but clean and they could supply a kettle.

The floors in the room and hotel floors are dirty, even tho we was there 8 nights they Ww here still there the whole time. Pool area got cleaned once in a 8 night stay most places it’s daily. A man counted the sunbeds and there was 150 in the whole hotel for a hotel with over 2000 rooms. The sunbeds also don’t go up n down there them old fashion ones which a lot are broken. The Entertainment is terrible apart from the karaoke night. I think they do it so u don’t stay here to drink. The Pepsi Max machine had ants coming out with the pop is was disgusting. The food wasn’t good at all but I will admit the second half of the week it did get a bit better. Soup was cold. Two days there was batches/rolls/bread but no butter then butter but no batches/rolls/bread. The bowls and cups have chips in them all well I don’t know bout you but id chuck bowls/cups with chips in away Now the entertainment man I don’t know his name he is rude and arrogant, didn’t like me cause I complained about the sun beds and how many people put towels on, he liked all the women that were young and had good figures…… talked to them loads but didn’t want to know if you had a mind of your own a lot of people said they wouldn’t go back because of him. The rooftop is nice tho n quiet but u get no food up there not even snacks The reception staff are rude When u check out at 12 o’clock your all inclusive stops so if your flight isn’t till 7 at night you have to pay for your things they cut your band off your arm. Best thing about this hotel was the people who were on holiday we met a lot of lovely people but out of 18 couples they all said they wouldn’t come back to this hotel. They need to sort a lot out here
