Best Calgary Hotels

"There is a big gap between the five-star hotels in our impression, and it is almost the same as our domestic four-star Holiday Inn Express, but the United States and Canada are similar. The hotel is good value for money, the swimming pool is relatively small, the standard American breakfast, and I eat too much."

"We loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!"

"Came to Calgary to visit friends, and booked this hotel out of trust in Marriott. The actual experience was quite good. The room is a little small, but it is still okay for one person. The hotel breakfast is very good, whether it is buffet or ordered. I had to catch a very early flight on the last day, and the kitchen helped me pack a portion before. The front desk staff who helped me order food in the evening was also very nice and patiently introduced each dish to me. The only dissatisfaction is that the bathroom door in the room is also the door of the closet. When the bathroom door is closed, the inside of the closet will be exposed. I don’t like this design very much... Other than that, everything else is good. The hotel is in a good location, close to Chinatown and shopping malls. I walked all of them, and it is not far from the light rail station. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport by Uber, which is not too far (after all, Calgary is such a big place). I will stay here next time I come to Calgary!"

"I recently stayed at the Sandman Hotel and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and conveniences. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome. There’s also a nice restaurant attached to the hotel, which was very convenient and served excellent food. The only downside was the loud noise from the train on the street below, which could be disruptive at times. Despite this, I would still recommend the hotel for its prime location and excellent service."

"It's convenient to go around, but the parking is a bit tossing for 45 a day. The price of valet parking is fair. Basically, the hotel here can bring dogs to stay, but there is an additional fee. This one is 40"

"Staff members were helpful. Patio accessed from room was very cosy and pleasantly set up. A gentle reminder that the bathtub/shower floor was extremely slippery, to the point of being potentially hazardous when in use. Lighting in room a bit weak to our liking; some dust on the reading lamp on the desk yet to be cleaned."

"the rooms are very spacious and seemed very sound proof. easy check in they also have where u can book for the day as we just got off the bus at 600 am And u can’t check in till 2-300pm well after 16 hours on a bus ect u are tired so to me this was the best thing i hear of. so thanku!!! the only downfall was that my reservations that i had made a few times said breakfast inc if u pay extra but there is no breakfast at all so that should be taken off the advertisement other than that it’s a great place to stay and good value!!! :) i would recommend to all my friends"
