The hotel is old, the location is convenient to walk to the downtown. Few restaurants around the hotel but the convenience shop downstairs only open few hours. The room is average so not too big. Our water was not hot enough so the manager changed another room for us, so the issue resolved on spot, thank you so much. Overall experience was good.

The hotel service was great. Staff were nice. The environment was clean. Only thing to improve is the lack of toothbrushing package and slippers.

I have been staying at the Westin for many years and enjoy the location and cleanliness. If you use Trip, you might be able to get free breakfast, which is otherwise very expensive. And of course, Westin heavenly beds! And self-park which is nicer than valet.

Show that you care!
The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better.
We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces.
Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field.
1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it.
2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price.
3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time.
Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.”
We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge.
You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity.
Overall, not a good experience.

The front desk was very nice and I saw her in a happy mood the whole day. The room is clean and tidy, with a wide view outside the window. Breakfast is a collaboration with the restaurant on the first floor, a Western-style set meal, which is unique and delicious.

The hotel was a great choice. It is close to the airport and the fairly close to the downtown. The room is wide and includes amenities as described when booking. The bathroom is wide too. Cleaning is done on a daily basis, if requested.
We tried the breakfast and would preferred if it included a wider variety of options (cheese options for example, olive, vegetables as cucumber and tomatoes).

Amazing hotel! Super comfy, clean and new. 15min drive to calgary airport, under $100 a night for 2 queen beds at level 8 with unblocked view. Best we could find in the area. Wish there was a hot tub though! Restaurant below had fantastic food and service.
Only less than satisfied part was the check in process - pretty troublesome to have to provide hardcopy ID, hardcopy credit card with name that matches your ID (debit not accepted) for incidentals. Will be better if they could use the card which was used to prepay the hotel room.

YYINANThe place is clean and our hosts are super nice. They speak English and Chinese. Just a 20-minute drive from the airport and it takes you about 80 minutes to get to Banff town. I will definitely choose this place again if visiting Calgary.
DDAICHUNZHIThe hotel is ok, but the towels are a bit old. The room is moderate and comfortable. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is ok. There are not many varieties, but it is basically enough, unless you are too picky. The restaurant is not so high-end. It is in a semi-underground, and the dining environment is just a place to eat. The overall environment of the hotel is ok. It is on a main road with heavy traffic. It’s just that the hotel pictures are more magnificent. It’s not that big in reality, and it looks a little small. Especially the lobby, which is incomparable with the domestic ones. The size is similar to that of the lobby of a general express hotel. The facilities are acceptable, and it looks small and exquisite. The lobby provides a coffee machine, which is quite good, but it’s a pity that the hot cocoa and chocolate hot drinks are always insufficient, and you have to drink bitter coffee. The room is of moderate size, but the air conditioner is a bit noisy, and the whirring sound of the wind is not easy to accept for sensitive people. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, but it can only be called a pool. It is also small, suitable for playing in the water and not like a racetrack. In addition, the location is right in the city center, not far from anywhere, suitable for people who like to check in, and those attractions are within 2-4km. However, this is a huge cemetery area. There is a big slope behind the east side of the hotel, and it is an industrial area. Across the road on the north side of the hotel is the cemetery area. I thought it was the only one, but who knew that the west side of this cemetery is also a public offering. There are five or six cemetery groups around this large area, and there is also a Chinese cemetery. The huge green grass area around the hotel is not a park, but a cemetery! Fortunately, the cemetery here is not so scary. It feels like a casual place like a park that you usually pass by, so it doesn’t produce too much gloomy feeling. As for the service, the front desk here is not like the beautiful girls in China. There are a few old men. A middle-aged white man looks good, but those old men are not so good. They are from the Middle East and their facial muscles don’t move much to show a smile. They give people a feeling of being gentle and indifferent, and they are not suitable for the service industry! The room service is ok, if it weren't for the sullen faces of the people serving at the front desk, the rest would be acceptable.
GGuest UserSo nice to stay at a hotel that has somewhere to eat right in the hotel, after a long flight. Highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again!
CChengMy stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it perfect for travelers. I loved the free shuttle service, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the new coin laundry facilities, which were super convenient during my stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options to start the day right. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Calgary!
MMichelle BillingtonI always enjoy my stay at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The purpose of my trip was to hang out with my sister and catch up on our lives. The deluxe queen room was spacious and welcoming. I found a stain on the top sheet when the cover topper fell away. Just looked like a coffee stain, but jeez?! We went down to the buffet for supper, and the prime rib and scalloped potatoes were delicious, as well as the other entries. After we ate, we sat in the lounge next to the restaurant. I loved the big, comfortable chairs we chose to sit on. When I got up to use the ladies' room, my hips were out of sorts for several steps because the chairs are sitting too low. May I suggest they update the furniture as I noticed other older guests having the same issue.
GGuest UserI chose to come to the same hotel near Calgary airport every year when I land and the night before flying home, because it is just brilliant!
After a friendly and efficient welcome, you get a big, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated bedroom & bathroom, with a big comfy bed (or 2), a big desk, coffee maker, fridge, microwave & a big tv. Those are the most important things for me, but on top of that they have a big pool, a hot tub & a gym (that I have no intention of using while on holiday) AND a decent unlimited breakfast included. And all of that for an amazing price! Plus they have a shuttle to the airport if you need it. Best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
IIndia DBAt first five stars. Once we tried to catch some winks though, we found that we could not get comfortable. The sheets are stiff and unpleasantly unpleasurable. We slept poorly and felt tired even tomorrow (today). The bathroom was clean and glassy.
Ddouble0111#positive #I was happy with the Cleanliness of the Bathroom, Staff Attitude, Quantity of Amenities; A very cost-effective hotel. There are McDonald's and Tim Hortons next to it. It is also close to the city by car, about ten minutes
JJamesThe hotel was under renovation so that may have affected things. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, they let me check in earlier than their 3pm check in time, but lets be honest, they weren't full and preventing people from checking in early when they have rooms free is just bad service. The hotel itself was underwelming, and everything was bare minimum effort. It smelled of cleaning solution and cigarettes, and has poor soundproofing. There was no water in the room and their vending machine was empty, so I had to walk to a nearby gas station to get something to drink. It is close to the airport and within a few blocks of restaurants, but this place has the feel of barely kept up motel. I guess this is what you get in this price range in Calgary.

In my experience, the card key failed to open the entrance door but it was replaced at the reception office. I felt safe to be in the second floor due to the entrance door that nobody can enter but the guests with the card key.
I was looking for bedroom slippers but they had none.
