An excellent stay overall. Brian and Valerie made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely, with an amazing view of the river. Really tasty and plentiful breakfast served both mornings. Brian even offered us a lift if we couldn’t get a taxi back from the Wedding we were attending. Fully recommend this charming guest house

My wife and I road tripped around Scotland for our Honeymoon and Callander was our favourite stop largely because of this lovely BnB. Our hosts were incredibly personable and their home was so lovely and comfy to stay in. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

From the moment we walked in the door of this bed and breakfast, we received a warm welcome, help with our luggage, and a comfortable room with a delightful view of the river! (and some homemade shortbread!) We would love to return for a longer stay!

A wee gem. Just stayed here for a couple of nights and I can honestly say that the hospitality I was shown was great. Brian and Valerie are lovely hosts and my room was first class. Super comfy bed and the shower was very powerful. I had the full Scottish breakfast on the first morning and it was great. The second day I wasn’t very hungry so just had some sausages ( I made a sandwich). Fab. Great quality. Will definitely return.

Friendly hosts but we were underwhelmed by certain aspects of what was provided. The mattress seemed of budget quality as did the flat pillows. The bedside tables felt sticky to the touch, and the grouting in the shower was overdue a clean. Our breakfast table, covered by a plastic tablecloth, was sticky and the sausages tasted bland. The salt & pepper shakers though pretty, we're in need of a good wash.

My wife and I are happy to recommend Riverside House. We were made to feel very welcome and the hosts went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The room was top quality and had a lovely view of the river and the garden. We would very happily stay there again.

From the absolutely stunning view of the river Leny at the bottom of the garden, to the comfort of our room, I can’t recommend this place more. Comfy bed, amazing shower, perfect breakfast and friendly hosts who can’t do enough for you. Sitting in the sunshine beside the summerhouse in March is a bonus for us in Scotland. Stunning.

Lovely large room, sparkling clean, friendly helpful hosts, delicious fresh cooked breakfast to order, small establishment so personal service and “homey” experience but with our privacy. Modern bathroom and shower. Lovely view out window! Quiet spot, we had a great nights sleep! Thank you Brian and Valerie, it was wonderful to stay as guests at your house!
