Albatros Apartments by Malibu

Over the last couple of years of holidaying in Callao Salvaje, I saw this place being renovated and when I visited and stayed at another apartment complex in the village last November (‘23), I saw the finished Albatross apartments and thought, wow I must stay there next time. I didn’t know at that time how beautiful the apartments would be. I opened the door to the apartment and was completely overwhelmed by it. Absolutely beatifully finished. I had a large glass fronted balcony that overlooked the viewpoint area, where I had to drag myself away from each day at some point to go for a walk and feed myself. A perfect view. I ate breakfast on the balcony every morning in the cool and within a couple of hours the sun came round and I just soaked it in. The sunsets viewed from the balcony were stunning. The Apartment was furnished, with good quality furnishings and everything I needed in the kitchenette which was very well equipped. All the staff here were kind and friendly and very welcoming. Martin met me and greeted me on arrival, showed me to my apartment, explained everything. The apartment was kept immaculate, the cleaner was so friendly and efficient. I am a solo traveller and to feel safe, comfortable and not alone should I need help, is very important. I felt secure, comfortable and not alone the whole time. As promised Martin, I will return. Unfortunately I cannot at the moment return until next November - I think, but I can’t wait to stay at the Albatross Apartments again. I was very sad to leave, I had a perfect and wonderful stay.

I booked a super last minute deal for me and my 4 year old to Albatros by Malibu for a couple of days with the idea of peace and relaxation and this place does not disappoint. We’re only here for 3 days and I’m already sad to be leaving. Not just the hotel but the area around it is so quiet even though there are an abundance of bars and restaurants. The apartments themselves are so clean and spacious. All the mod cons. The smart tv has come in useful for the 4 year old and the coffee pod machine was a nice and welcomed touch. There was a lovely bottle of wine on the table for us getting here and a bottle of water in the fridge. The pool area has amazing views and I’m yet to see more than one or two people down there. This is my first time in Tenerife but if I returned, it’d be to the Albatros By Malibu. There’s a big super market over the road and a very popular bakery about a 3 minute walk. Everything you need on your doorstep for an easy self catering stay. As I booked last minute there were only 2 rooms available and I couldn’t be happier with it. Partial sea views out on the balcony which is huge. Love the wicker chairs, they’re so comfy.

We've been coming to Callao Salvaje for 13 years. This is the first time we stayed in Albatros Apartments by Malibu. We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful this place has become. It is renovated very good. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have all you need. There is USB-C next to the beds, ceiling fans with remote control, LED-lightning, free WiFi, Smart-TV.... What more could you wish for ? We stayed on the 2nd floor, there is an elevator so no problem. The pool and pool area are cleaned daily and very beautiful. They even have a clothes store and supermarket in the complex. The town is perfect. Just enough places to eat, cocktail bars, supermarket and quiet streets, slow traffic and just enough parking possibilities. :) We'll sure be back !

Stayed here last week Check in nice and easy. Nice bottle or wine and water waiting. Absolutely lovely rooms. Clean and comfortable Very nice quiet area. Everything you need on your doorstep. Martin the owner couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely visit again.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at these wonderful apartments! The apartments are very clean, spacious and in a great location. The pool is quite small but big enough to accommodate the amount of people staying in the apartments. There was no rush for beds and even at 11am there was still plenty of beds available. I had never hear of Callao Salvaje before we booked this holiday, but I would most definitely return. It’s a small village but with plenty of lovely restaurants and a few bars and the apartments are located within a minutes walk of everywhere. We always say we wouldn’t go back to the same place but I found myself pricing up fur next year, we loved it that much!

Stayed here for 5 days and can honestly say it was a lovely experience. The apartments were beautiful and clean. We were given our room number and door code before we arrived so we could go straight to our room when we arrived in the middle of the night. The pool area was very clean and we didn’t have a fight every morning to get a sun bed, still plenty of beds at 11am. When leaving, we were also able to keep our apartment on for the full day without any extra change. I would without a doubt book these apartments in the future!!! Thank you again for a lovely stay
