Badia Giulia

A big thank you to Giulia and her husband! It was fantastic. The service, breakfast, room size and the ambience of the very well-kept complex really helped us to relax. Day trips are very easy from the B&B. Giulia's apple pie in the morning was fantastic. Really great hosts. We would recommend you. Grazie mille!

We contact this structure to have a weekend in the Viareggio area. We are immediately "overwhelmed" by the friendliness of Rossano and Giuliana. The location is optimal for getting around the Camaiore area, Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio. It is a former convent that they converted into a B&B. They have maintained the original, splendid structure, integrating it with ancient and modern furnishing elements, creating the right mix. The rooms are very large, well furnished and with all the comforts, except one by specific choice of the owners: in fact there is no television (compensated by the provision of a tablet supported by free wi-fi). The balcony where the upper rooms are located, overlooks the internal courtyard and a pergola where breakfast is consumed: another strong point of the location. It was truly pleasant to taste the products that Giuliano and Rossano were able to present to us for breakfast, both made by them and taken from nearby bakeries and pastry shops, under this lush pergola. All supported by excellent service, thanks to the passion that G&R puts into satisfying the needs of its guests to ensure that their stay is unforgettable. Price absolutely adequate for the level of experience. I highly recommend this B&B: a pearl thanks to the location and the work done by G&R (well done!).

Abbiamo soggiornato, mio marito ed io, 5 notti attorno alla metà di agosto, con un caldo torrido che rendeva tutto lattiginoso. Ma quando rientravi in questo angolo di quiete, attraverso il portoncino che si affaccia sul lato della Badia, ti sembrava di rientrare in un paradiso. Un piccolo giardino curatissimo, con cespugli e erbe aromatiche, un pergolato di viti sotto cui si fa colazione e la stanza, arredata con semplicità e raffinatezza, con una temperatura semplicemente perfetta. Senza contare l’accoglienza che riservano ai loro ospiti Giuliana e Rossano, premurosi ma mai invadenti. Insomma, per chi ama la quiete in un ambiente accogliente, questo é il posto perfetto!

La struttura è stata ristrutturata di recente e con gusto in un antico convento. La colazione viene servita in giardino, con vista sulla chiesa medievale che si trova di fronte (a volte si sentono i cori della S.Messa!) oppure nella limonaia. Prodotti di pasticceria freschi e fragranti con abbondante scelta sia dolce che salata. Su richiesta vengono preparati piatti come uova strapazzate, selezione di formaggi freschi e salumi locali. A disposizione e gratuitamente restano sempre un frigo bar in ogni camera e distillati con alcolici nel salottino comune Esperienza positiva sotto ogni aspetto !
