Just had a very pleasant stay at the Sorrento. First class service at this family run hotel the staff are efficient and friendly and the owner made us feel very welcome. The room was well equipped and very clean. We will visit again and would highly recommend.

Great hotel, with very friendly staff and the owner himself helping out when needed. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again. Very quiet which is very important since it's almost in the centre of Cambridge. Very clean and cosy. Had a great night's sleep.

We booked The Sorrento for a large family gathering and we were delighted we did. This is a super little family-run hotel offering the kind of service sometimes missing from bigger hotel chains. The staff were all friendly and nothing was a problem. Our room was spotlessly clean and a really comfortable bed meant we slept well. A tasty full English breakfast (or the excellent continental offering selected by my wife) in a relaxed dining room with attentive staff made for a great start to the day. The spacious and friendly restaurant specialising in Italian food with a wood burning pizza oven is an excellent option for families or those not wishing to venture out at night. For those that do, the local neighbourhood offers a range of places to eat and drink and the wine bars and local delis are also worth a visit. Being on a bus route makes access in and out of town effortless. This value for money hotel is definitely one we will use for future visits.

I have been visiting my son in Addenbrooke’s Hospital since the 25th September, I wish I had stayed at this hotel before, Staff very friendly and welcoming, rooms very clean and comfortable, and breakfast is fantastic, even had freshly made pizza from the restaurant downstairs, booked again for another 3 nights , and probably a few more bookings before he is out of hospital, wouldn’t go anywhere else, highly recommend thankyou jo

Staffs are very welcoming and helpful. Check-in and check-out had no fuss. Free parking is convenient. There are shops nearby, and the Italian restaurant is really nice. We had an unforgettable dinner and a breakfast there. After a horrible experience from a guest house named Riverside Inn in Ely, Sorrento Hotel just saved our trip.

Very clean rooms with comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and with good towels! Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast had a good selection and tasted great. Possible to walk into the city centre within 40mins, would recommend!
