Holiday Inn Express CAMBRIDGE by IHG

This is the cheapest hotel I can find for this week. It’s clean and new. The only problem is the room is too small after having the sofa bed out. I love the way that the breakfast is included. Their staffs are all friendly and helpful. Overall it’s a good place to stay.

Great locations and convenient car parking with great breakfast nice staffs

I stayed in Holiday inn during March in room 046. It was a very clean room on arrival with twin beds and a bigger than expected bathroom. It had a good shower with Dove washes. It was a 45 min walk from the Centre of Cambridge along Mill Road or you can get the No 2 bus that costs £3. It was a pleasant walk. The reception staff were very helpful and check in was quick. The room had a good temperature and it was cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a kettle, TV and an iron. The breakfast area was very busy in the mornings. The hot breakfast was ok. The Coffee was Ok there were a range of pastries and muffins all Ok. There were a lot of poor behaved people with a lot of ill behaved children in the breakfast area. Overall I had a comfortable stay. The room itself was very quiet. The images provided are of the room and view from the window, the walk to the hotel. I hope they are helpful.

Apart from location, good to stay hotel 🏨

Hotel is not in the city but parking is not expensive (6 pounds)

The hotel is good location and staff is very friendly,but the room is bit small, breakfast is ok,if you are not expected lot of choices,l only disappointed they don't serve fried egg 🍳

I booked the hotel just one day before the booking. When I arrived on 10/7 at the day of hot weather warning, I found the room temperature is 28.5C and then the staff at front desk told me the air conditioning was out of order. As per their instruction, I wrote to the Assistant manager asking for viable solution and refund but no reply was got. Besides the chair in the room is full of heavy dust, likely they previously cleaned a dirty fan on the chair. I could not sleep properly. Terrible experience.
