What a beautiful house! Ivan has created an elegant, restful place to stay, with every detail considered. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, there is one charming terrace after another to sit in. Ivan helped arrange activites such as a bike ride to stunning Zuheros and a fun and informative wine tour in Montilla. We were so pleased to have had this experience of rural Andalucia.

Casa Alamara is a beautifully restored house in this small little village which is on the Camino Mozárabe ( part of the Camino Santiago). Ivan and his wife have produced an stylish, elegant and welcoming venue. The help they gave us was excellent.

Wat een pareltje. Achter een sobere gevel in een kleine straat vind je meerdere stijlvol ingericht kamers, gelegen rond een binnenplaats en tegenaan een heuvel met meerdere terrassen. De kamers hebben alle nodige comfort, het ontbijt is top en de uitbater zeer vriendelijk en attent. In het kleine dorp (stadje?) valt niet veel te beleven, maar Cordoba is niet veraf. Ter plaatse kan je de (kleine) honger stillen in een aantal cafés-restaurant.

Casa Almara wurde liebevoll renoviert, liegt im verschlafenen Espejo, ideal um sich von den Städten zu erholen und die Ruhe und die Natur zu geniessen. Rundherum 1000e Olivenbäume. Nahe an Montillo, wo man bei Bodegas die feinen Montilla- Weine verkosten kann. Tip: Bodegas Alvear Bricio hat uns sehr herzlich begrüsst, ein feines Frühstücksbffet bereitgestellt und mit Tips für die Umgebung beraten. Auch Ivan der Gastgeber und Besitzer dieses Bijou begrüsste uns mit einer Herzlichkeit, gab uns dann auch einige Tips mit für unsere Weiterreise. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und können Casa Almara nur weiterempfehlen. Schöne, stilvolle und sehr saubere Zimmer, teilweise mit Terrasse. Herzlichen Dank für diese schöne, persönliche Gastfreundschaft !
