Overall, it's a very good, well located hotel that we'd happily book again and we'd certainly recommend the all-inclusive package. There were a few issues but I'll get to those. The location is great if you'd like a quieter area. The lovely beach is a couple of minutes walk away and if you venture north along the coast for 15 minutes, you'll hit the busier main Can Picafort area. The grounds and rooms are nice and well kept. The rooms are good quality for their class with a comfy bed and they're maintained by very good housekeeping staff. We had the pool view room and we could see a bit of the sea, too, which was great. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner (virtually all European cuisines). Breakfast didn't change much during our 5-day stay, but lunch and dinner options changed significantly every day. The desserts were the best quality dishes. Again, very good staff. The spa is good quality and well worth a visit, even if you only use the inside pool with different features (waterfall area, heated section, etc.). There's a good amount of sunbeds around the two external pools which aren't huge but suitable for the hotel size. Lastly, they made an effort with evening entertainment and had something happening every night. There was karaoke, flamenco dancing, bingo and an ABBA tribute act. However, there were a few areas where it could improve. There were some ants in the room (3rd floor) which meant we had to be careful about leaving food or drink out. No room service available which I'd expect in a 4 star. That meant no substantial food was available after the restaurant closed at 9/9.30pm but there was a vending machine with crisps and chocolate. I didn't enjoy their hot breakfast food. I tried it three times but I found most dishes very plain and a chore to eat. That said, there was plenty of fruit, cereal and breads with continental ingredients available for cold options. The activities didn't feel very inclusive at times because they were often dominated by a raucous Zumba group. For example, I was interested in karaoke night, but the host just kept inviting members of the Zumba group on stage instead of asking others to take part. It was odd. I'd expect a fridge in 4 star and it would be very useful considering the warm weather. Lastly, there were a few issues caused by our very late check-in being mishandled by a junior employee, but we don't blame him - he should've been properly trained before management put him in that position by himself. As a result, we didn't have WiFi access for 12 hours and there were complications with arranging our return airport transfer. I'm just sharing my balanced feedback; most of the negatives should be addressed in my view, but they didn't stop us enjoying our time here. As I said at the start, it's a very good hotel overall.
