Unexpectedly, after the front desk lady learned about the situation, she immediately said with a warm smile: ”Don't worry, we will coordinate and solve it immediately!” In just ten minutes, I upgraded my more comfortable room type for free, and I also prepared a welcome fruit plate to apologize.
More surprising, the duty manager specially called the room to confirm the check-in experience, and offered to give breakfast for two as compensation. This crisis handling ability that exceeded expectations makes me feel the hotel's attention and respect for guests.
This experience made me deeply realize that good service is not only providing comfortable rooms, but also solving every anxiety moment of the guests with professionalism and temperature.
