I stayed for a week in this hotel at the end of July 2022. I who every year go for a week to Cannes in the summer, and stay in mid-range hotels close to the station, given the price and the photos, I was expecting to be generally quite satisfied. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this hotel. For the little comfort I had in this rickety room. Low maintenance. And even the disappearance of my flip flops... Everything had started very well when I booked a month earlier. Reservation made via the hotel directly, by telephone (much cheaper than on certain well-known sites). My interlocutor, probably the son, was very friendly on the phone. Confirmed to me that going through the hotel is cheaper. Even promising me a single room BUT with a double bed because there are still some available. All for 400 euros for the number of nights desired. All charged upon my arrival. ROYAL I say to myself... Start of my stay, so I arrive at the hotel. And then, badaboum... I get my room back. Right in front of reception. A small room. A TINY bathroom (good luck getting into the shower if you're overweight...), a MINI trash can for the whole room near the shower... A bottle of water in it and the trash can is full to bursting until the next day... True!!!! Barely enough space on the sink to put 2 hygiene products, no more!!! And a bed... SIMPLE!!! Where is my promised double bed??? I remain taken aback and disappointed with this room. I'm about to leave the hotel. I'm looking for another one on the internet... But hey, given the period, it's impossible to hope to find anything. And I don't want to lose 400 euros for nothing... I call the number at my disposal since there is no one at reception... I find the young man who took my reservation a month earlier. Always so friendly but powerless in the face of my remarks. He tells me that only one single room with a double bed exists in the hotel and that of course given the period, it is taken... However, it was the one I had to have, he told me so.. .He doesn't remember, which I can possibly understand. However, I will have to stay in a rickety room for a week. Strange, I've never seen a single photo of this room on the internet photos of this hotel... It's impossible to invite anyone in, I'm ashamed of this room... I've never felt like that... I I just managed to benefit from a free night given the inconvenience caused. A lesser evil, 300 euros and dust for a week in Cannes I tell myself... Well no!!! I am charged 400 euros. The amount that the gentleman told me on the phone when I made my reservation. He was wrong when he told me the amount. Impossible to know since no reservation confirmation email was ever sent to me... In any case, no more choice to stay there... Big disappointment as well as the service
