Ocean Drive Talamanca

The hôtel is well located , the staff absolutely great and super helpful. The room on 5th floor has a sea view, very modern with all commodities to enjoy your stay. We tried the breakfast once ( 30€ per person) also very good. We really recommend this hotel !

Could not fault this hotel. It is stunning and the room was gorgeous. The staff were as lovely as they could be and so attentive to anything we needed. The location was perfect for us as it is walking distance between both Destino & Pacha. All round amazing will definitely be coming back :)

We had an absolute incredible stay at Ocean Drive Talamanca, and it truly left nothing to be desired. The view from our room was unbeatable—the beautiful bay and a direct view of the Old Town was breathtaking. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The location is perfect, right by the beach and the Marina. The valet parking service was also super convenient. The staff here is worth their weight in gold! Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful—Damian even assisted us in organizing rental bicycles. A huge highlight was that they noticed it was my birthday and surprised us by sending a cake, champagne, and balloons up to our room. That was such a thoughtful and memorable touch! Thank you again! Since we didn’t book a meal plan, we cannot comment on the food. However, we absolutely loved the live acoustic chill-out sessions. It's a fantastic concept, and the singer’s voice was completely mesmerizing. ​We traveled with our small dog, and the hotel was incredibly welcoming to our furry family member. Everyone was so sweet and attentive to her. Upon arrival, our room was already equipped with a dog bed, bowls, and lovely amenities like a toy, snacks, a to-go water bottle, and poop bags. The only tiny downside is the design of the pool loungers. Unfortunately, they are not adjustable, and due to their curved shape, it is impossible to lie comfortably on your stomach. We will definitely be back and recommend it 100%.

The hotel itself is in great condition — clean, well-maintained, and the room was genuinely impressive: spacious, comfortable, and clearly looked after. However, the overall experience fell short in a few key areas. Check-in was a letdown — no assistance was offered with our suitcases, which set an impersonal tone right from the start. Breakfast was similarly disappointing: staff were slow, inattentive, and seemed generally unmotivated. It’s frustrating when such a simple part of the stay feels like a chore for the staff. While the hotel has all the right elements on paper, it’s missing warmth and character. It feels a bit dull, almost clinical — more function than feeling. If you’re looking for a place that’s efficient and well-kept, this might work, but if hospitality and atmosphere matter to you, it may leave you underwhelmed.

Great experience We had an amazing stay at OD Talamanca. Everything was just perfect. Food, service, view and people. It’s in a quiet area but short walk to few restaurants and beach places. The beach in Talamanca is beautiful and not crowded at all. We will come back for sure

Not 5 stars The hotel needs remodeling asap, it looks retro. The size of the rooms is good size for 2 people. The hot water would not come back while I needed to take a shower they tried helping me but took bout 30 min so I had to leave without showering No shower caps in the room not even the housekeeper had. Overall a mid experience day
