Hotel Country Club

The hotel is a very welcoming establishment with excellent services. All the staff, especially at the reception, are exceptionally kind, helpful and establish a truly pleasant relationship with the customer. Maybe the place could be modernized a bit, but that's fine too. In the summer with the great heat, the two swimming pools, adults (25m) and children, are excellent for families with children. The catering services, breakfast and, if desired, all meals are very good. Apparently a little out of the way, you shouldn't be scared by the navigator who makes you take absurd turns. From Lucca, Porta Elisa or San Pietro, via Pesciatina takes you straight to the hotel in a few minutes. Large parking area.

I booked this hotel on booking, specifying the preference for a double bed. It is always written that it depends on availability and they were friendly in sending me a message saying that only single beds were available. However, I would have expected a small gift, an offer of some kind given the inconvenience. The rooms are nice, the bathroom is a little dated and everything seemed clean except the remote control, which was full of dust. The uncomfortable mattresses. The worst aspect was the swimming pool. Closing is at 7pm, a little early, but I understand it was to open the restaurant. They invited everyone to leave at 6.40pm, so since our arrival we have had little use of the service. Even worse was August 15th. We knew we would find a lot of people, given that the pool is open to the public, but all the sunbeds were occupied, according to the lifeguard. Shortly after us, however, a couple asked the lifeguard for them who proceeded to give them to them. In my opinion, a certain number of sunbeds should be reserved for hotel guests and then given to external guests. We then sat on the floor and noticed many deckchairs occupied by Towels where no one sat. Next to us, 2 tourists had two sunbeds and a deckchair, which they obviously didn't use. It would be more correct to assign sunbeds based on the people who are actually there. Furthermore, the swimming pool was monopolized by a group of people playing ball. I understand that it is large, but there was no room to move. One of these people objected to a kiss I exchanged with my boyfriend, saying out loud that there were children there and it wasn't appropriate. (children who have the swimming pool reserved for them). I had chosen this hotel for the swimming pool and nothing else, but I was really disappointed. However, I want to point out that the girl at the reception was always very kind. The breakfast was also good, varied but not exactly high quality.

O hotel é razoavelmente equipado, a equipe é boa; porém é orientada a manter os condicionadores de ar desligados. Eles são acionados na recepção e desligados no meio da noite, mesmo contrariando o hóspede, e isto gera aborrecimentos. E eu acho melhor não me aborrecer. Não volto mais.

Piscina bellissima, pulita e ben tenuta. I bagnini sono bravissimi e molto attenti, il personale del bar molto gentile e professionale. 💜 ci andiamo da qualche anno ed è uno dei nostri posti preferiti..................................
