On arrival we couldn't drive up to the hotel as the road was a building site tapped off. One past this hazard, our room had leaking electrics, had a leaking roof, no working shower, blood on the walls. The spa seems permanently closed, the decking 'lookout' area is a health hazard with rotten wood leading to a large drop to an empty water feature. After numerous attempts to contact manager, he still hasn't returned calls.

The food was exceptional. Loved the setting and the staff. It was Spring in South Africa so the pools were not ready-full of leaves. The facility was tired but there were clear signs of the staff preparing for the upcoming busy season. Wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and the iconic Table Mountain. Stillness is too far from the main city to get to any place without a car.

Horrific! The hotel is awful - exhausted. In addition to which there was a toxic spill in our room. The manager admitted that he knew that one of the staff has spilled a bottle of cleaning product in our room, which cause my wife to have a massive allergic reaction and my eyes to stream. (And even though he knew he showed us to the room. Unbelievable!) We checked out immediately. I have been trying to get a refund from the hotel owners (Touchdown) for weeks. They are ignoring me, even though the Manager acknowledged their liability. Stay away from Stillness and all Touchdown properties. (They also own Tshukudu Game Lodge)

Terrible hotel..very tired and in need of a lot of money to bring it to any standard. The room was really sad, bed lumpy..air con pitiful.. walks paper thin...when we checked out this morning after one night they didn't even ask why...please don't stay there...

While this hotel is beautiful from the outside, it needs a tremendous amount of work and updating. None of the 3 pools were open as they all needed repair. The furniture and rugs in the room are worn and stained and appeared to be second hand. Our room was not completely cleaned one day. Staff is friendly but clearly frustrated by not getting support from the corporation. It would have been more appropriate (and appreciated) if we were told of the disrepair of the hotel before it was booked. GoTouchDown owns the property and they need to make major improvements. I would not recommend staying at this facility at all.

a great place for hiking and some serenity and peace. pleasant surroundings at the foothills of a mountain range and neighboring forest trails. for a bit more glamour than you have a choice of two nearby Golf courses

What an extremely beautiful estate and heartwarming personell. Secure location allows you to spend time in relaxing spa or take a stroll on the large grounds. Restaurant offers all meals and breakfast is À la carte. Every detail on the grounds and in room seems to be in honour for the historical value. Rooms are spacious and equipped to all your needs during the stay. They not only have a pool but three pools and one of them is heated 🤗. Also they have steamroom and very authentic Finnish sauna. I'm already looking forward to visit Stillness Manor again.

The welcome from the staff was just super friendly and helpful. You can clearly notice that these people do everything they can to make your stay excellent. Only some money should be spent to give this beautiful place a makeover. But a big 5 star reception!

A treat and always a pleasure to visit. We had a girl's day out - three friends. The each had the X-Mas Wonder package. The spa is so well run, clean and just super to visit. Our treatments were great and a swim in the indoor pool afterwards just made the day. Would recommend!
