Our stay at this hotel was simply perfect. It was our first time in Cape Town and we definitely made the right choice. Roland, the owner, made every day easier by sharing his invaluable tips and recommendations—what to see, what to skip, and even the best times to visit each place. He was absolutely spot on every single time! The rooms deserve a perfect 10: they’re spacious, immaculate, and extremely comfortable. On top of that, the service was impeccable, with the staff always going above and beyond to meet any needs we had. We truly felt at home and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we find ourselves in Cape Town again. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place!

A lovely little gem of a guesthouse in the heart of Cape Town . The host Roland cannot do enough for you & he is extremely helpful in making suggestions on trips & restaurant recommendations . We loved the quirky furnishings & the pool and honesty bar were a bonus We had a great stay & would love to come back .

Utterly delightful from the moment of arrival. Wonderful team that make this a really special place to stay. Breakfast was glorious- beautifully cooked and presented and we loved the Honesty bar. A calm peaceful place to stay with easy walking to some great restaurants and lovely quiet rooms. Roland’s recommendations and suggestions added to an altogether great experience and we will recommend to friends and hopefully be back!

Gorgeous characterful house, feels like a home. Roland the owner is absolutely charming and welcomed us with the words 'this is your home whilst you are here please'. We had the Elephant Room - large spacious with comfortable bed and pillows, effective heating system and all the little touches you would expect from a high end boutique lodge. Breakfast was always excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Surrounded by palms and greenery it is a little oasis in the hub of Cape Town. Plenty of outside shaded areas or sun by the pool. We loved it!
