Great Hotel where you truly feel like your home .

Since you enter the hotel you feel that you are at home .The warm welcoming at the reception and relaxed atmosphere at the lobby .The room is nice with large balcony overlooking the trees and the sea.when we first entered they introduced lemon juice and lemon tart which is a very nice touch from them .the two brothers at the reception artanged a private boat to the blue Grotto which was well organized trip . The location is 5 -8 minute walk to shopping area but in the same time in quiet place .the breakfast was so arranged and Benedict that we ordered was delicious.

This hotel is magical! La Minerva blends excellent 5-star service with the warmth of a multi-generational family-run business. The location is ideal, the rooms are immaculate, and the service is unforgettable. We were helped with funicular tickets, taxis, euros, activities, restaurants, baggage, and everything else we could ask for. The pool is immaculate and heated. My husband has a food allergy and the entire staff seemed to know- going so far as checking with the chef and preparing food special for him. My husband and I loved this hotel so much we hope we are able to come back. Do yourself a favor and stay here if they have room!

We just returned from Capri and a wonderful stay at La Minerva. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with every detail considered. The decor, the tiles, the artwork, the views. All absolutely stunning. The property is beautifully thought out and maintained; flowers and fruit trees everywhere; a warm inviting pool; a comfortable living room in the lobby for aperitivo. But most noticable and appreciated was the friendliness and kindness of the staff. From the owners to the lovely people at the front desk, the bartender, the servers in the restaurant, the housekeeping, I could on and on. Everyone is professional and friendly. It truly feels like you are staying with family or good friends. We even ran into Frederica (front desk) one evening on our way back to the hotel, when her shift was over, and she stopped to ask us how our dinner was. Thank you La Minerva for thinking of everything and for making our mother/daughter trip so memorable. We can't wait to come back!

A superb property that has spared no effort in ensuring quality throughout. The reception welcome and constant assistance has been overwhelming to say the least, from recommending to arranging reservations in restaurants and constantly ensuring that we were happy. The breakfast on the rooftop is outstanding both in choice of food and beverages. The service attended by Kamal a 20+ years longstanding Maitre D, has made all the difference too, made us feel at home both on the rooftop and at the charming swimming pool. This property thrives on returning clients for obvious reasons, we will surely not hesitate to return if we are lucky enough to find availability as and when we decide so, and would definitely advise other exploring clients to do the same, if you’re lucky to get an availability then go for it with your eyes closed 😎

This review applies to the Villa Arabella, which - like the Hotel Minerva - is run with great passion by the Esposito family. Our stay got off to a great start: Luigi Esposito, our host, picked us up personally at the port of Capri and accompanied us to the villa. I was fascinated by Villa Arabella from the very first glance. The location, the tasteful furnishings and the elegant style - everything was just perfect. The villa is in a quiet area about a 10-minute walk from the lively Piazzetta. After visiting the tourist hotspots, it was good to return to the less crowded part of the island. We felt completely safe throughout our stay in the villa and its surroundings. The villa has been recently renovated and is stylishly and luxuriously furnished in typical Capri style. All three bedrooms have direct access to the terrace and their own en-suite bathroom. Two rooms are large and spacious, one of them with a very large bathroom. The third room is rather small. The roof terrace is fantastic with sweeping views over Capri and the sea. Luigi knows the island and the surrounding area perfectly and provided us with numerous tips and organized private tours and restaurant reservations for us. Another highlight was the breakfast, which the chef prepared fresh every morning according to our wishes. The service is also available for lunch and dinner on request. The only thing we missed in the villa was a pool. There is a whirlpool, which is a good alternative especially in the cooler months. We felt very comfortable in Villa Arabella and would book this fantastic house again in a heartbeat.
