Fantastic Stay, we we’re very pleased at Villacore. Beautiful guesthouse walking distance to Capri town center, just the right distance to remain completely peaceful but not too far from the center where the restaurants and the entertainment resides. Yes there are a lot of steps but that was our experience of Capri, get ready to walk. Much of the island is pedestrian and we developed leg muscles that we did not know exitsted. We are not the most easy family to host, we have 2 crazy kids, one that plays football 24 hours a day but Francesco and Pat were very hospitable and helped us a great deal. I would recommend Villacore to families.

Avoid summer It's 35 degrees and no air conditioning! Nowhere in the miniscule room or in the common areas. The bed is very small (1m40) it's so hot that you have to sleep on the open balcony, with a fan that makes a lot of noise and therefore wake up as soon as the sun comes up. Nothing is luxurious the title is misleading we were really disappointed The jacuzzi is hot in the summer it is not possible to enjoy it To access the room you have to show a lot of walking under the sun to finally find your room where it's dying of heat I've rarely slept so badly, the note on the internet and especially the word luxury in the title is for me a big lie we don't have the same notion of luxury!!!!!

The villa is located at the end of Via Tragara. After climbing the 133 steps you find yourself in a splendid building with a terrace that overlooks the Faraglioni. The view is priceless. Our room was very large as was the bathroom and with a super panoramic balcony. The breakfast on the terrace is the best. We will be back.

Non si può restare indifferenti alla bellezza e al fascino di questa antica villa affacciata sui faraglioni .. l ‘ entusiasmo di Francesco nell‘ accoglierci e raccontarci di quando viveva lì da piccolo ci ha incantati e ci ha fatto capire quanto lui ami la casa e il suo lavoro .. ci siamo trovati benissimo in begli ambienti classici e ben tenuti .. la colazione sul terrazzino a picco sul mare è un valore aggiunto e credo non lo dimenticheremo facilmente .. la sensazione di essere capitati in un ambiente unico l’avevano percepito subito all arrivo ma ci ha accompagnati per tutta la permanenza.. fantastica esperienza
