Wow wow. Life changing experience! You are in another world. Total adventure so far from any commercialism. Beautiful place that is a journey to get there BUT that is the beauty. The owner Lana is a spiritual warm very interesting person with 5 star hospitality. Get her book “Married to Paradise” if you want to read up before. So much to do excursion wise. Bring your cameras. Staff is wonderful food exceptional. In between hiking etc take time to sit back read and listen and see real nature. Not closed in zoos or sanctuaries. Incredible trip book it!

Peaceful, exotic, and gracious, Luna Lodge was everything I had hoped while packing. The view of the jungle from our bungalow changed throughout the day as the angle of the light and clouds across blue skies did their magic. The jungle sounds of cicadas, Howler monkeys and more enlivened each day. Hiking in the jungle and swimming in the pool provided life-giving recreation. Meals were nutritious, delicious, and beautifully presented. My cousin and I especially appreciated the spa. A magnificent vacation all around.

The food was excellent, the staff were not only kind but knew our names right away and responded to every request promptly, and the masseurs were beyond experienced. The breeze up above the forest was always refreshing, and our bungalow was clean and tranquil. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable - including the taxi drivers -- about the wildlife we might encounter. This is not a traditional hotel, but an outdoor oasis sheltered by deep roofs and the Osa forest nearby. Sustainable practices are explained and sensible. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 4 nights at Luna Lodge in November 2024 and loved it! Lana Wedmore has realized her dream - beautiful bungalows, excellent lodge and food (vegetarian included), in a superb remote location. The rivers were high due to a lot of rain but our driver, Jairo, got us through every crossing safely. It was thrilling, actually! It's best to have an experienced driver for the 2+ hour trip into the lodge. We saw many monkey species and hiked in Corcovado Park with excellent guides. Luna Lodge is set on a steep slope - everything is manageable, although prepare for the trek up to the yoga platforms if you want to do the yoga. The people, the monkeys (especially the spider monkeys that thrive in Osa) and the feel of this remote location make it a fabulous trip! I read Lana's book, Married to Paradise, before going to Luna - her journey to fulfill this lifelong dream of building a wellness place on the Osa Peninsula is incredible!

Our glamping experience (tent was very comfy/cozy & clean), at Luna Lodge was magical. From the lodge staff (Kiki, Raquel) to the guides (Andres, Mau) to Lana who had a dream (many thanks) for a sustainable property to share with others. Special mention to the helpful people with our bags & the chef/kitchen staff for the amazing meals.

Life changing experience!!!!! Tucked away in the jungle in the wild Peninsula, you are surrounded by the incredible biodiversity of both animals and plant life. From the moment you arrive, the owner and staff envelope you with care. The food is outstanding. The native wood structures are stunning. The wellness offerings deepen the whole vibe of relaxation and joy. Knowledgeable guides pave the way for incredible experiences with wildlife. It is obvious the owner takes care of her staff - they seem truly happy. You will leave transformed and want not only to return, but to help Lana, the beautiful owner, keep Osa wild.

This is the best eco-lodge on the planet, immersed in the best place on the planet!!! Lana, the owner, has built something extraordinary. It truly must be seen to be believed, and you'll leave realizing that this area MUST be protected, at all costs.

End of the road paradise in the jungle - people are warm and friendly - food is excellent - guides are professional - bungalows are spacious and attractive - very few bugs - definitely recommended - owner is always present and willing to provide guidance or help - major yoga platforms but we spent our time looking for birds and animals
