We had a lovely two night stay. The sea view from our room was stunning, breakfast was really good and Heidi and Pete are great hosts. Literally right next to the coastal path so really easy to walk to St Ives. We had a lovely time and would certainly return. Thank you for a lovely break.

Had a fabulous 6 days staying at Chy an Gwedhen. Heidi and Pete are great, they're both very friendly and welcoming and their home is a pleasure to stay at. Perfectly located, with just a short walk down into St Ives, or head in the opposite direction for an even shorter walk to the beach at Carbis bay. Our hosts were very helpful in regards of places to go and how to go about getting to them and Pete was very knowledgeable of the local comings and goings 🙂. We would recommend Chy an Gwedhen without hesitation for your stay in Cornwall, and Petes scrambled eggs are pretty good too 😉. Thank you both for letting us share your home. Nick & Tracy.

Just returned from a relaxing stay at Chy an Gwedhen. Pete and Heidi are great hosts and made us very welcome. Location is fantastic,lovely walk into Carbis Bay or St Ives. Our room was fab with an amazing sea view. We will definitely return on our next visit to beautiful St Ives.

This B&B is in a great location for spending a few days in St Ives. Free onsite parking is available for all guests. Heidi and Pete are the perfect hosts. Plenty of banter and local knowlege. Our room was spotlessly clean and we both slept well. We walked to the town centre/beach every day down a relatively steep coastal path in about 15 minutes, but got the bus back. The garden area looked lovely with seating and parasol. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Chy an Gwedhen and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

A wonderful birthday break at St Ives and Pete & Heidi aka Basil & Cybele you didn't dissapoint, situated in a prime location for coastal walks. Pete & Heidi were very helpful with any questions we asked. THE room was very pritty with a slight view of the sea. Breakfast was 10/10 well done team 👏 And the football banta at breakfast with other guest was so funny. Would definatly recommend family & friends to stay here. We will be back have a good season #leedsunited Al & Mike

The Chy An Gwedhen Bed & Breakfast was beyond our expectations. Pete and Heidi have have created a warm and inviting guest house that made our trip to St Ives very special. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a wide selection beautifully prepared choices. Many thanks to both you! Ann & Bishop

Booked for 4 days with my wife mini break first in 4 years. From start to finish pete and hiedi made our trip an absolute pleasure nothing too much for this family . breakfast cooked to order ready when you come out in morning. Position of this bed and breakfast is the best, on bus route 5 mins to centre of St ives,half hour walk on coastal path,which takes you to porthminster beach one way or Carbis Bay the other. The accommodation was clean and modern plenty of coffees in room, the bed is very comfy and I am 23 stone and it was fine for me if you want, seating in back garden or front garden lovely view of the sea and beaches in the distance looking forward when we can get back and do it all again thank you from David and mandy

Fantastic B&B ! Pete and Heidi were the perfect hosts. Room was spotless with a great sea view. Superb breakfasts with good banter. Easy access to town centre either by road or coastal path. On a regular bus route. Good food at local pub just down the road. Thank you both for making us so welcome.
