Warwick Hall is a place to retreat from the world and be hosted with simple elegance. We were greeted and shown tomorrow room with gracious hospitality. An honest bar is provided in the library. Dinner and breakfast were simple and excellent. The staff was kind and went the extra mile to ensure our food and lodging was up to expectation. There are beautiful walking trails by the river and an outdoor garden to retreat to. I highly recommend this spot.

This hotel took my money but I cancelled as I could not get there. Took the full amount yet it cost them nothing. I had booked 48 hours before but not help from them. Morally disgraceful. Avoid this hotel as they give you nothing yet take your money.

Lovely luxury B&B with a slightly eccentric twist! Extremely easy access off the M6 - 2 miles on A69. Rooms are large, well appointed and the lady owner Val very genuinely welcoming. The beds are the most comfortable ever!! Breakfast menu excellent and cooked to order. Evening meal is ordered by 6pm as again cooked to order. All the food was of the highest quality in taste and presentation. The Drawing room is a lovely place to sit and has an honesty bar which was a pleasure to have. This room is shared with the owners study but she was completely happy for any guest to be using it and actively encouraged us to enjoy the open fire and comforts. The whole premises is dog friendly which is lovely however you need to be aware the resident puppy (7months) pointer is off lead and very bouncy. May not be suitable for anyone who isn’t keen on dogs or has a reactive dog. Although in fairness to the staff kindly removed her when our boy was around as he isn’t keen on bouncy puppies! The staff are without question delightful and attentive without being over bearing. One weakness is the lack of accessible rooms. They do have 2 downstairs self contained apartments but both require you to climb steps from the outside to access. There is no lift. I would very happily stay again and we met several returning guests.

From the moment we arrived, our stay was just perfect. So relaxed, peaceful and quiet, amazing service and such attention to detail. We really did feel at home. Gorgeous setting and very welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a break away to book. We met Val the owner in the evening and she was so friendly and wanted to make sure we felt comfortable in our stay. There is an honesty bar in the lounge and she made sure we had ice and our preference of drink for when we returned later in the evening. We felt as though we were her personal guests because she was so attentive and friendly. The whole place is relaxed and very well looked after. The rooms were very well fitted out and warm and cosy. Breakfast was superb and again such attention to detail. We had a lovely walk around the grounds to the walled garden and the bee hives. If you're looking for great service, a relaxed and comfortable setting in a gorgeous Country home, quality and friendliness and something that a lot of places just don't seem to offer anymore, then just book1. We stayed in the `New Room" which had a massive bay window with the most amazing view over the river Eden. We shall be back and thank you to all the staff who went out of their way to look after us. A real gem. Val, we will be back and thank you! x

What a wonderful place to stay ! We stopped here on our journey from Scotland to home in the South of England and wished we could have stayed much longer than the one night. We occupied the spacious corner room which had everything we could have wanted, including a huge bath, plus loads of space for our dog. Dinner was three courses of delightful food, beautifully cooked and breakfast was just as good. Best of all was our walk directly from the garden, down along the river in the fresh morning air with an autumnal covering of crackly leaves. Thank you for your warm hospitality and the opportunity to share your amazing home.

This is our second stay here as we loved it so much the first time. Warm welcome, beautiful grounds, gorgeous rooms in a traditional country mansion. There is a walk along the salmon river to the fishing hut before you return to the sitting room with a real fire and a G&T at the honesty bar. We loved exploring the wildness of the walled garden with bee hives (you can buy the honey back in the house) and free range chickens and raspberry bushes laden with big, fat fruit! Our dinner was terrific, limited choice but tasty and beautifully cooked, with probably the best steak pie we’ve ever had! Warwick Hall isn’t shabby chic and curated like numerous hotel chains, but a genuinely luxurious, welcoming B&B with five star service.

A fabulous place to stay, the room was lovely, a little tired in some places but overall very clean and everything worked, we loved the breakfast and had dinner on one night and cannot fault it, my own personal thing would be to have music, not meaning a disco or anything but piped music, it was to quiet for me personally but the food was delicious, overall a brilliant place and beautiful gardens.
