Stayed here last night and I have to say it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in when we went up to the room it wasn't very clean there were no curtains on the window jua a blind the two little windows were open and flies all around them it went from bad to worse we arrived a two o clock and went straight to the function at 8 o clocked my husband tried to get access to the room and the doors were locked a member of staff tried to open them couldn't a second member of staff was very rude and opened the door but asked if he would this be going to the moon regularly because she looked like she didn't want to be put out having to open the door again went we went to the room to go to bed the bed was hard and we had to listen to air/con.on the roof for the whole night and then listening to church bell from 7 o clock when we tried to make a cup of tea the kettle was broke so we d no sleep when we were leaving the receptionist asked was everything alright and we said no she got a manager her reply was to ask did we not ring the night porter and he would have cha8our room they must have known there was a problem with the room when they were allocating iit because I've never stated in a hotel that there was ear plugs in the room I don't expect a reply from this because it's a bad review and yous only reply to good one s

The hotel experience wasn’t great here, felt unwelcome as soon as we got there from the reception staff, there was a sign to go to the bar to check in and one girl came with us who was lovely, another girl then appeared and she was huffy with us from the beginning like we had put her out. This was the general vibe of the staff at all times, seemed put out that we interrupted their conversations and unhappy to help. Breakfast was not great, only option for me as a vegetarian was cereal or eggs and toast as we couldn’t avail of the full breakfast menu, only a small set one.

Nightclub in building with thumping music until 2.30am. At check in when I asked how they can not warn people who book rooms in advance, he replied that it was written on the website and that there are earplugs in the bedrooms. The rooms are old and dusty, the beds uncomfortable (you can feel the old springs) and the pillows rock hard. Not an ear plug in sight. I tried my noise-cancelling ear phones and could still hear the bass of the music and the screaming. Plus it was 150 Euro for one person - outrageously expensive for the dump it is. I would avoid.

We are 4 sisters on overnight away ! The bedroom was clean & comfortable. The bar food wasn’t good we had to send back the chicken wings! We had drinks and at 11pm we were advised lounge was not serving anymore we would have to wait an hour until 12 midnight to order a drink with Night Porter! We had good red bottle of wine to bring to our bedroom & the bar manager refused to open for us and said go and buy an opened in Dunnes!! Very unhelpful no customer service & no management anywhere!! Parking available outside in public pay car park & you had to get up at 08.30am to pay metre! Overall a very disappointing experience no care for the guest ! Won’t be there again

We organised a dinner for a large group (a Hen Party) in the Dine Ri. Noleen was very helpful and communication was clear and quick! We had a set menu which was great value and there was plenty of choice. Portion sizes were ample. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal. Afterwards we had a reserved area in the Foundry nightclub, which is attached to the Dinn Ri. A great time was had by all in the group, especially the Bride! Great atmosphere and would highly recommend.

Really nice hotel, large rooms and nicer than expected for small hotel. Can be loud due to nightclub. Really Central location, Carlow seems to have good shopping. Guests need to pay for parking 0830-1830 (they don’t own car park but they will inform you). Very nice breakfast
