Spa Hotels in Carmel Valley

Five stars! From the moment we walked in -- and the front desk team poured us wine and lemonade and gave our children seeds to plant in the garden -- we knew we would love this hotel. The pool was beautiful and warm, even in February. Our kids loved playing bocce ball on the lawn. Our valley villa suite was huge and comfortable, with a fireplace on the balcony. And the whole stay was full of surprises and delights -- a complimentary mini bar with cheese, crackers and wine; plush striped towels by the pool; bottles of water at the valet; toffee chocolates at turn-down. Everyone was so warm and welcoming; we felt like we were staying with family. My children are already begging to come back, and my little one cried when we left. When you book hotels online, it's always hard to tell what the vibe is (will it feel suburban and bland? or cheesy and scene-y? or magical and fun?) -- and I can reassure you, Bernardus is the kind of wonderful, magical place you will love and want to return to for years. xoxo

The Carmel Lodge nestled like a small gem in the Carmel Valley. From the moment we arrived, the decompression began! Fresh, clean air. Stunning mountains and the grounds of the lodge were absolutely gorgeous. The decor was festive, welcoming and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay FANTASTIC! The rooms were rustic, warm, very clean and the beds were so comfortable! This place is minutes away from the surrounding cities and the beach! This will be our future stay for vacations!
