Le Diana Hôtel & Spa Nuxe

The room was perfect, I did not know that there was a fitness room and did not see any photos of it online. Service was good. The bar was a little expensive but the drinks were good. The spa was clean and having a time slot and only a few other people was great.

This is an excellent hotel and would have been a 5 star review had it not been for lack of internet for the whole week. This is not acceptable. Staff friendly, lovely dining room with beach views and very good breakfast. Pleasant bar area . Pity about the technology!!!!

An excellent hotel, polite, professional staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Room was lovely and wonderful views of beach and sea. Excellent dining room - superb breakfasts and food in the evening was worthy of Michelin Stars. Will definitely return in the future.

We had a terrible first impression of this hotel as the woman on the front desk was so unhelpful, we ended up complaining to management about her before we even arrived in our room. But actually, apart from her we ended up having a fantastic stay, the Spa was brilliant and the views are incredible. Carnac ended up being our favourite spot in Brittany.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had lunch on the terrace one day and waited over 30 minutes for a bottle of wine to arrive and a further 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Other guests arriving 30 minutes after us in the restaurant were receiving food and drinks very soon after sitting down. We checked on the order three times only to find it sitting on the bar. The waiter was trying his best, but he was solely responsible for taking orders, serving drinks, cooking the food and clearing up for the entire terrace. When the food finally arrived, over an hour after ordering, the vegetable sharing platter (at €22) which was meant to be a selection of vegetables of the season contained a few dried out carrots, one prune, two 5mm slices of melon and a handful of vegetable crisps. We also ordered 2 club sandwiches and 6 oysters, the sandwiches were tiny and dry and only 5 oysters were served. We tried to raise the problem with the staff on several occasions, but our complaint was dismissed. The answer from the staff behind reception was “you ate the food so you must pay”. We also showed the staff a photo of the food we had left uneaten to prove we had not eaten it all, but this was dismissed. We requested to speak to the hotel manager on 3 occasions but never received contact. For a 4 star hotel, where we were paying over €500 a night for a room, this is not the customer service you would expect. The receptionists attitude was unprofessional and lacking in empathy. We checked out feeling very disappointed and completely let down by the staffs attitude and lack of response to our unhappiness with the meal. Never have we been to a place where when you raise dissatisfaction with a meal are you still forced to pay the full amount for it!!

We recently returned from a 3 day very enjoyable break. Pros:- Very well presented hotel and room. Lovely warm pool Restaurant 1st class. We tried the tasting menu with wine that we were recommended by the chef. Food was amazing & chef was very knowledgeable Breakfast was lovely and extensive Parking in a secure car park at 10€ per night for peace of mind Lovely location. Beautiful views and close to town. Above all really lovely staff who couldn't be more helpful. Cons:- We had to leave! Well done Le Diane, we will return
