5 points+! If you have watched the movie Sissi, this hotel will be similar to the palace environment in the movie. Dine on the balcony with stunning ocean views every day. The hotel is quiet and has excellent service. Although it only has 15 rooms, its small size and exquisiteness are definitely unique among European hotels!

I had a convention in a nearby hotel that was fully booked so I stayed 4 nights in Martinhal.
All the staff has been friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean.
Not really a business hotel but I would definitely come back with my family and kids.

The Hotel in general is ok. If you stay for a longer time a change of the breakfast buffet would be a plus.
Avoid rooms on the side of the street if you are sensitive to noise.

GGuest UserEverything about this hotel was exceptional. The room was wonderful, Deluxe room with Sea view. Clean and lots of extra treats, cakes and chocolates daily and mini bar stocked with non alcoholic drinks. The staff here are exceptional, friendly providing a first class service. The Evening meal in the restaurant was gourmet food at its best and the staff were very knowledgeable about the wines. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice.
The hotel itself was beautiful, the location great, the parking was easy.
The spa facilities were truly wonderful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. They have the right balance of providing luxury whilst being family friendly.

GGuest UserThere are three floors in the building, there are not many rooms, close to the sea. The toilet in the room has a smell and the price is lower. Hotel parking is less than 20 euros a day, breakfast Western food, can also do something to eat.

But after changing hotels, I felt that Sheraton's service and rooms were better in comparison. I will book this hotel next time I come here. It’s cost-effective and the service is good.

IILYAThe hotel is overall ok, but my experience is really controversial.
Pros:
Good value for money. The location is quite central. Clean rooms. Live music at the rest zone near the reception from time to time.
Cons:
Cleaning process is ruining the perception. No logic, no exact timing, they can even enter the room with a sign ”no disturb” on the door.
Sound proof is poor, so all external noises can be easily heard.
The reception people could be more friendly (smiling and saying ”hello” to customers when an eye contact is happening).
I haven't yet tried the breakfast.

ZZH NIt is an old four-star hotel in a relatively quiet location. It is surrounded by residential buildings. It is 5 or 6 minutes' walk from the beach. The train station is 10 minutes away. Next door is a shopping mall for shopping, laundry, and supermarkets. It is more convenient. The hotel facilities are older and the rooms are on the thinner side. The bathtub design is not reasonable for showering. Water will spill out and wet the ground. Be very careful when entering and exiting. The air conditioner is either too cold or leaking. Parking, fitness and indoor swimming pools all require a separate fee. I have stayed in hotels in so many countries. Fortunately, this is the first time I encountered them. Fortunately, the hotel staff are very friendly and responsive. The thoughtful gift of a cake on my birthday is very nice😊 The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the bread is delicious. If you want to take a rest and vacation, it is a good choice👍

JJackThis hotel is in a very good location, it is right next to the train station. Also it is only a few minutes walk to the beach, and most attractions are within walking distance. The room is small but comfortable and lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, overall we enjoyed our stay.

LLeandroUm bom atendimento, mas a questão de partilhamento de cozinha se torna complicada deviso a geladeira ser muito pequena, mais acredito que seja possível melhor colocando uma geladeira maior, mas a cozinha é bem limpa.
O quarto que fiquei hospedado é um bom quarto porém a Pia intupida a janela do banheiro quase caiu na minha cabeça!!!
