For us this was perfect. The hotel includes a museum of the battle of cassino and staff were very knowledgeable. They helped us find the site of the home and church of our family the reason we were visiting. The staff were just lovely and the breakfast was really good. I would revisit for sure

A lovely, no frills, family owned, friendly and informal hotel that is a great base for exploring the history of the Battle of Cassino in 1944. Pino, the owner is a mine of information of the Battle. He organised and lead a bespoke tour of the battlefield that enabled us to learn about the strategic importance of Cassino during the allied invasion of Italy and how the terrain and the weather played such a vital role in the outcomes. More importantly for us, he helped us to better understand the experience of our grandfather, who fought there. All in all it was a hugely informative and humbling experience, made possible by the knowledge, interest and empathy of Pino.

I have stayed at Hotel La Pace Experience before. All of the staff are helpful, although the hotel is simply furnished it is clean, tidy, and a short walk from the railway station. What you won’t find in any other hotel in Cassino is the unrivalled help and knowledge Pino the owner provides about the 2nd world war battle at Monte Cassino . Pino carried out research surrounding my Uncle who was killed at the battle, he then accompanied us to cemetery to pay his respects and showed us the area by the River Gari where my Uncle was initially injured. The trip was made very special indeed for our family by Pino and his staff.

I recently stayed at Hotel La Pace Experience for a visit to Cassino. The hotel was lovely. It was in a great location. The room was cozy and had stunning views of the Abbey. The lobby was beautiful. The breakfast was much larger than I expected, with several options for people with dietary restrictions. Every person on the staff was as friendly as can be. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Cassino.

Hotel was spot on in every way, supported by a really friendly, helpful & professional team. A great experience and pleasure to have stayed here great stay for any reason, though if coming for Montecasino, then it really has to be 'the' place to stay, with the memorabilia, and local knowledge which is happily & proudly shared.

Pino is very informative and the team at the hotel are lovely. The rooms and the bathroom are very clean. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre and the reception area has so much information and pictures of the Battle of Montecassino, it is a great place to stay.

The welcome our group received from all the staff was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Good, including the packed lunches, was plentiful and excellent. And the host’s knowledge of the Cassino battles was second to none. Would thoroughly recommend.

If you like ww2 history this is the place to stay the owner is a font of knowledge on the subject, even though we were not on one of his tours he freely gave us info on how to get and walk the “Cavendish rd” up to the monastery. The hotel is basic but perfectly fine for the price and clean, breakfast was continental style
