My wife and I stayed here for four nights as part of a group tour. The rooms are huge and the place is beautiful with incredible views. The chef Phillipo, runs the villas and also produces superb food. It is a little remote if you want immediate access to other restaurants, etc, but is the perfect base from which to visit the historic towns that surround this gem, like San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, etc.

The service from the staff as well as the facilities and views are amazing. I was here with my mum and fiancé for 3 nights, it was a great location, near town and short drive to all the main attractions of Tuscany. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Another goal for the family that manages the two most beautiful venue in Tuscany! I was with Filippo and Agnese after being stayed in the other villa owns by the same family. fenced by the private forest with a swimming pool with a breathtaking view makes you literally recharge your batteries! Suite are simply perfect, large bright spaces with a small sofa where you can take a sit and read a book before going down to the pool. Filippo could not have done better to make us feel at home

We were guests with my partner for 4 days, we visited all of Chianti, with the precious advice of Pippo and Agnese, we discovered some truly beautiful cellars and we had lunch in enchanting places and then returned to the best restaurant I have ever tried in 10 I have been traveling to Chianti for years, to Villa Godenano! Seeing Fiorentina cooked in the fireplace can be done in many places but do it while sipping an excellent freshly prepared gin-tonic, while talking to chef Pippo who shows you all the meats and types of vegetables they grow directly on their farm , gives the steak something extra and makes you feel part of a family ♥️

We were guests of this villa from April 28th to May 1st, in room 15, a SPECTACULAR room, just inaugurated but which I think can make many other couples like ours dream. Filippo, Agnese and Jessica pampered us from before our arrival until we crossed the gate, no request was ever too much and all the advice they gave us was super spot on, from the wineries to the restaurants around the Tuscan villages. A piece of advice to everyone, try the restaurant in the building, very local meat matured by Pippo, and very fresh vegetables, the perfect combination for a couple like ours with me being a carnivore, and my young lady being a vegetarian! Very elegant, well-kept and beautiful villa. Young, friendly and above all very welcoming and helpful staff... we felt at home! We only spent a weekend, but we will return because they really welcomed us like family even though we had children (who often make noise) and dogs following us, it is rare to find such understanding. We ate there for dinner and it was a very pleasant experience because the food was exceptional and the room very beautiful and evocative. We stayed for two nights in a "double room with patio", booked through booking. What disappointed me most was the room, located on the lower floor of the structure, with the feeling of being "in the cellar". Two tiny shelves as bedside tables, TV not working, very BASIC bathroom, cleanliness could be improved. The swimming pool is nice although in the photo it looked much bigger. The surrounding areas could be treated more, for example by eliminating the brambles ... We instead appreciated the breakfast on the terrace and the availability of the guys who take care of the lunches and the bar service by the pool. The possibility of communicating via WhatsApp is very convenient. Convenient parking, also covered if desired, and the proximity to the center of Castellina (even if the road is not beautiful to walk in the dark).
