The view that can be admired from the terrace is unique. The obsolescence of the structure and furnishings is balanced by the cleanliness of the rooms, by the courtesy and availability of Mr. Marcello and his son Igor. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning but not a television. Excellent value for money.

Simple hotel, a little dated in the furnishings but clean and welcoming. The rooms are spacious with air conditioning but without fridge or TV. The view is spectacular. In the morning from the terrace where breakfast is served you can admire the smoking Etna and the bay of Giardini Naxos. The owner and his son are very kind and helpful with useful advice and information. Try the almond wine. The village is really nice and connected all day by bus to nearby Taormina. Excellent solution if you are looking for tranquility a stone's throw from the beauties of the area.

As noted: Beautiful view and apt name of the hotel! Everything else VERY BAD!!!! At check out I forgot a small suitcase in the room and to return the ZTL pass. I promptly notified the hotel by telephone that I would come by in the early afternoon to collect my suitcase and hand over the pass. I WAS VERBALLY ATTACKED by the owner who insulted and offended me over the phone. I tried politely and patiently to calm him down.....but there was no help....he was out of his mind. Upon returning he obviously made me PAY an extra night for my suitcase.....Just read the other reviews (not from friends and relatives).....and this attitude seems to be repeated with other customers. I won't add anything else.....in fact yes: OLD STRUCTURE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS BROKEN AND SMELLY SMELLING CABINETS NON-EXISTENT SHOWER BOX in place of which there was a poorly placed, dirty curtain with broken supports. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

We stayed with 2 people at the Panorama di Sicilia hotel for a concert in Taormina. The property is in Castelmola which is located a few minutes above Taormina for an incredible view. From the outside, the structure seems disappointing but once inside, amidst the hospitality and excellent availability of the owners and the attention to the interior, you immediately change your mind. The hotel has a private car park that can be reached on foot via a few stairs but it is an opportunity to walk among the characteristic houses of Castelmola. The room I stayed in was a double room with a view and in addition to having a practically new air conditioner, it was also quite clean, quiet and comfortable with an enchanting view. The bathroom is not the most comfortable but for the price paid I would say it is absolutely acceptable. We did not use breakfast even though it was available. Structure that I absolutely recommend for a formidable value for money.
