We landed on our feet. What superb hospitality. Paolo and his son Matteo are excellent hosts. They WANT you to enjoy your visit and will “go the extra mile”. That always feels like home. Continental breakfast substantial. Very well located. Utterly clean. We’re only half way through our visit. But we did truly land in our feet. Have no hesitation whatsoever about booking here.

Beautiful rooms, great location, great owners! Would book again! Ride share was limited in the town but the owners ensured we had transportation to both train station and tours which were outside the city on the country side. Highly recommend! This was my wife and i’s favorite hotel out of our 4 city Italy vacation!

We were attending a wedding nearby and had been recommended Hotel Boutique. The host family were extremely friendly and helpful and sorted out any requests we had made. The rooms were spotless and the air conditioning very efficient. The town itself was quaint with some nice bars and smart restaurants

What a gem of a place. Everything about this place was excellent. The family, the room and the breakfast. Enjoyed our 4 night stay here and would happily return. We stayed in a junior suite and it was absolutely beautiful. The entrance off the Main Street in the centro belies what is hidden behind it.

What a wonderful small hotel, run by an equally wonderful family (father, mother, son & daughter). A lot of perfect detailing went into this building which dates to the 16th century. The rooms (we stayed in one, but visited many) are gorgeous. Breakfast is served (and damn good), and both the daughter (Julia) and son (Matteo) speak English well, if needed. Paolo (the father) greets you enthusiastically with his booming "Buongiorno!" This is a sweet little village. Not much to do In February, but apparently "hops" in the summer. About an hour's drive to Orvieto, Assisi, or Montpulciano. You'll have fun here.

However hidden away this seems, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the service throughout could not be faulted. The suite we were offered was slightly bizarre so we stayed in a Junior Suite which was really lovely. Breakfast was great too, even for off season

We have never been to Castigione del Lago. Spent 4 days and three nights with Hotel Boutique. This family run hotel was fab. Our room and patio had a beautiful view of the town and lake. This is a small town. Quiet in the off season. Lots of sights in the area including the best true castle i have ever been to as well as walks thru the town and around the city walls. The family of Paulo, Roberta, Mateo and Julia who so pleasant and helpful. Our other hotels stays before and after Hotel Boutique were sterile by comparison.

So nice. They do not have parking nearby so that was our only issue. Public parking a few blacks away. Everything else was lovely! I’d stay again!
