We've tried glamping, that is a modern home (and it IS modern, indeed) about 50m from the beach. The cabin is not really large but sufficient, comes with two bedrooms and (each with a bathroom) and a central living/eating place with a fully equipped kitchenette. Bedrooms are air conditioned. Not too many boards and drawers, but it works out if you use all available space. Beds are ok, but don't expect superior comfort. You have two supermarkets on the premise, about 5mins footwalk away. Two restaurants (generic about 5mins, seafood about 5 sec) and various recreation facilities complete the impression. Of course, the leading argument is to just get out of bed and walk 1min to the ocean - where you have your reserved seats and umbreally, and offerings like kiting, surfing, diving etc. Or just a 15km stroll down the beach to Punta Ala and back again. Your car will be outside, 5mins to walk and from there you reach Follonica in about 10mins.

The cabins were rather small but clean. The equipment provided was lacking as no toaster or coffee facility or even no kettle to boil water. The table provided took up the whole kitchen so had to be put on the good sized patio. However that area was mostly unusable as the roof was bamboo slats which let rain and pine needles in. Needs to be sheeted so it can be used. The beds were comfortable. No mats were provided so sand/dirt was walked in all the time. Overall only average experience

I visited friends staying at this camping site. my friends had booked several cabins + restaurant for dinner ( a group of 37 people!) and umbrellas and sun chairs for the beach. On Saturday 15/6 I was near umbrella n.30 and a syringe needle pierced my foot. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE ON A PRIVATE BEACH??? The manager (Elisa) told me, I could call a doctor if I wanted and never offered A true apology. The manager also added that “It can happen, and during her 20 years employment she has witnessed another staff who got injured too”. I will NEVER go back there and suggest you to avoid it or wear protective gear, because like the manager says “it can happen”♂️. To protect other patrons and kids playing nearby I threw the needle over the fence but the manager took it so I don’t have a photo. This camping is Totally unsafe. As I return to Sydney I will have to get blood test and follow this up. Ps: we stayed for dinner and the food is average, limited and very pricy.

This is our second time to Puntala and we love it here. Beautiful beach, it’s quiet, and amenities are great. It’s not the cheapest but we fell we get the value we pay for. The customer service was great and the two people running the kids club and entertainment were excellent. We will continue to come back again each year.

We think/hope it was a mistake, but we were charged 401 Euros for two nights. This was 25&26 August so still high season, but really, that is just incredible. The camp itself is huge so you can either have a long walk to the beach or a long walk to the shop/reception. Pitch was large with water and a drain. We chose near to beach so it was a long walk to get the morning bread. Dont forget to wear a shirt or it becomes 2x a long walk!!! The beachbar is great for a sunset apero and the beach side restaurant was also good. Just don’t order the 8euro “icecream artisanale” as it is just a yogurt pot of average icecream. The tiramisu on next door table looked fabulous :( - so in review, a great place with secluded pitches spoilt by the ridiculous price. Maybe it was a mistake…..we hope so!!

Nice campsite, shaded, fairly clean, few activities for teenagers (no nice beach or soccer/basketball fields) what there is is really small. Inconvenient access to the beach with the pass. Or rather if it worked with the app it would certainly be more convenient. Too expensive for what it offers, restaurant out of reach for an average family

Too expensive! We stayed there for 4 nights with our camper van. Immediately after arriving we wanted to change pitches. But that wasn't possible because the other pitch was supposedly reserved. After the new neighbors arrived it turned out that the pitch wasn't reserved at all. Great service! We were constantly told to only push the scooter we had brought with us on the campsite! At the same time, employees were constantly driving back and forth in front of our camper van. The showers were cold, except for one. The waste water was in the dishwashing area and in front of the washing machines and stank horribly. Drinking water was available from pay-for taps. At €72.00 for the pitch I simply expect more!
