La Bastide des Pins

Fabulous base for visiting nearby historic towns with the iconic Pont Du Gard only 20 mins walk away. Private & comfortable gites with charming little touches set in beautiful gardens. Come back from your day trips to cool down in the huge pool. Optional breakfast, which we chose, of delicious freshly baked patisserie with coffee sat on terrace overlooking gardens and listening to the birds. Owners couldn't have been more lovely. Secure carpark provided. Can't think of any negatives, overall wonderful experience.

We went there with a couple friends for the weekend and we just loved it. What an amazing venue, like a bit of paradise in Provence, walking distance from the great Pont du Gard and from a little river wher we had a nice refreshing swim before laying back in the B&B's swimming pool. The room was quite charming, provençal style and nicely and tastefully decorated in a basic way. Fantastic hosts who know how to be discret but available when or if needed. This is a true gem in the heart of provence 🙏

We spent one night here on the way home. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The setting is idyllic, overhung by huge pines and shrubs with a well and the turquoise of the pool peeking through. The rooms are set in a staggered row in the garden. Our room was charming with lots of old-fashioned style. French doors with voiles and nets opened onto our own little terrace overlooking the garden and pool, with a little table and chairs to relax. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great. I was glad of the mosquito mesh on the little window. The bed was very comfy. The hosts suggested a walk up the road to the nearest restaurant or offered food to be delivered by a friend. We walked and had a great evening of entertainment up the road at Les Voutes. Breakfast was shared at a long table in the garden. Anything more than bread and jam or croissants you needed to ask for. Cereal we requested was muesli brought in a bowl. Coffee was good. Only disappointment for us was the hot tub was not being used and the pool was too cold as unheated. The host kindly printed off good instructions for a hike to the Pont du Gard when we left.
