We had such a lovely stay here. The rooms are gorgeous, the people are kind and helpful and the homemade food is fantastic. We’re so glad we didn’t stay in town, as it was super touristy and filled with construction sites. But the hotel provided convenient transportation (or motorbike use) if we ever wanted to travel th 15 minutes in.

Location: in the middle of must-go Butterfly Valley, perfect for those who love to stay seperate from noise but still can enjoy the peaceful nature around. The place is full of plants and trees so we can feel very fresh air both day and night. Butterfly is everywhere in the garden, cant say how much I love the place. Specially we even can see beautiful sunset from the pool side. Cleanliness: 10/10. We stayed in a bungalow with view to the garden which was nice and relaxing. It is fully equipped with all the necessary bathroom/toilet and amenities like a nornmal room. The place is not too far from city center, so quite easy to go back and forth for visiting other points by motobike rent at the home. The host is one the most hospitable person I have known. She took very good care of us from checkin to out and preprared good meals for our stay. I love the morning yogurt, dont know why but its good. 2 nights staying here was a little short for us, definitely come back for the next Cat Ba visit.

Extremely beautiful and well maintained meeting our rather high western standards. Everything was super clean and neat and the interior was of high quality. Unfortunately we missed the breakfast, but all the other food we ordered was delicious as well. The location is stunning and equally perfect for climbers, adventures and people seeking photoshoots! Highly recommend!

I’ve really enjoyed my stay here surrounded by breathtaking nature - especially by the pool! I’ve stayed in the Junior Suite, which had a view directly to the beautiful landscape where you can also spot cows. Once you spot the cows and that area around them, you can ask the hosts to organize a picnic there as well! The hosts were extremely welcoming and nice, which made the experience even more wholesome and special. I recommend this place 100% and if you’re keen on getting more adventurous; I would really recommend to go for trekking in the Butterly Valley!

This homestay is an absolute gem! From the warm hospitality to the serene surroundings, every moment was unforgettable. The hosts treated us like family, and the homestay itself was a haven of peace and beauty. Surrounded by lush greenery, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Plus, its proximity to Vietnam's iconic landmarks made exploring the area a breeze. If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese experience filled with warmth and charm, this is the place to be. Beautiful and quiet location. I love the view and tranquility of the place. The breakfast was nice and the swimming pool was clean. Super chill place to wind down. The staff were friendly and helpful We loved it and definitely considering going back.

Je suis un client assez exigeant de manière générale et j’ai été pleinement satisfait. L’endroit est tout simplement paradisiaque et je l’ai trouvé même mieux en vrai que sur les photos. Le personnel est adorable. Beaucoup de pays dont le mien (France) peuvent prendre des leçons de gentillesse au Vietnam! Les chambres très bien. On est sur du standing assez élevé. La piscine est ensoleillée au milieu d’un jardin fleuri avec soin. L’hôtel propose des activités dont les prix sont tout à fait honnêtes (je parle par expérience avec d’autres hôtels testés au Vietnam) Le restaurant est délicieux. L’hôtel est au milieu de rien mais on est prévenu avec le nom (hidden) et c’est cette ambiance que l’on recherche en venant ici. Calme et nature. Parfait. Il faut un taxi ou un scooter pour bouger mais l’hôtel propose ce genre de service. Par ailleurs certains prestataires d’activité viennent vous chercher sur place.

Ha sido una experiencia increíble salir del caos de la ciudad para visitar Cat Ba y hospedarme en Yen Hidden Valley🥰 Además de poder disfrutar del silencio del lugar para poder meditar y practicar Yoga, he podido desconectar completamente del ajetreo y el caos diario despertándome rodeada de naturaleza. El personal es muy amable y eficiente. Si estás en Vietnam y buscas un lugar para desconectar y reconectar contigo, te lo recomiendo totalmente!
