We had the most wonderful stay at Palazzo Perrotta. Marco and the team are super lovely, and always happy to assist. The b&b is four rooms and a common living/dining room where breakfast is served. We stayed in a family room number 4. It was spacious, with very tall ceiling, comfy beds and power shower. We had a lie in every morning and missed breakfasts (served 8-10am) but there was milk, tea/coffee facilities, yoghurt, cereal and fresh pastry waiting for us in the dining room - it worked brilliantly for us. On a new year’s night it was a tad noisy so just for this occasion perhaps pack a pair of earplugs. All in all fabulous stay in the heart of beautiful Catania, and we will be recommending this place to all our friends.

We enjoyed staying here. The room was spacious and very clean, as was the en suite bathroom. (A strange wire wall in the room seemed unnecessary, to be honest.) We could easily walk to the main high street of Catania, and it took about 5 minutes. Marco was welcoming and friendly and offered good ideas for evening meals. We ate at Me Cumpari Turiddu. Recommended. Also close by. The air con worked well, once we got it going. It was exceptionally hot and humid outside, so it was very welcome coolness when we arrived back for siesta each day. Around the corner, on the piazza near the opera house, there were two lovely street cafes where we had breakfast, preferable to the packaged food provided by the B&B. Excellent coffee and pastries. Recommended, and if you don’t mind getting a taxi from the airport (25 euro) and being dropped near the B&B as there is little car access, that’s good. It suited us very well.

Excellent central location just a few meters from the city centre. Located inside a historic building. Very good location. Self-service breakfast inside and coupon for having breakfast at the bar a few meters in front of the theatre. Recommended for both couples and families.

Very nice B&B in a newly restored building. Inside, everything is new and furnished with excellent taste by Marco, the owner. A person who welcomed us with a smile, always available for anything (advice on what to see, restaurants, etc)... Our room was spacious and elegantly furnished, nothing was missing! Super comfortable mattress and pillows, very quiet quality air conditioner. Small balcony with small hanging drying rack and even a mosquito tag available for guests if needed. Furthermore, no less important well soundproofed rooms. Breakfast can be consumed in the hotel or in an excellent pastry shop in Piazza del Duomo with a paid voucher. Finally, a transfer service to the airport is available to guests. Really great stay! Absolutely recommended!

Prachtige B&B met hele fijne kamers welke ook zeer schoon zijn. Zeer centraal gelegen en alles is goed bereikbaar. Ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid maar zeker prima. Heerlijke verse jus d'orange. Parkeergarage ligt ook zeer dichtbij de B&B. 1 groot nadeel en dat is dat er op de zaterdagavond heel veel mensen in het straatje uitgingen (en de daarbij horende geluidsoverlast). Andere nacht was het prima te doen!
