I saw Hotel Pil and it was very relaxed. It was nice to have a large parking lot and elevator in a pretty building that was just built. We chose this hotel because it seemed to have clean facilities, offers dining options and is close to the National Park. It exceeded our expectation in every way. The staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious, clean and bright. Beds were comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had a late dinner and an early breakfast there. The hotel is approximately 8-10 away from Entrance 1. This is a great option for anyone looking for an overnight stay with easy access to Plitvice. Hotel has many other facilities, including a pool, which we unfortunately didn't have the time to enjoy.
