The owners of this apartment are generous and gracious, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The apartment has beautiful marine-themed mosaics inlaid everywhere. The reason I gave this property a 3 is that it’s quite far from the main area of Caye Caulker and there are no amenities anywhere nearby. No coffee, no restaurants, nothing. It’s past the airport on the opposite side of the island from the action. We had a lot of rain, so this posed an even bigger problem than it would have during a normal week. I strongly suggest that you stay near the main part of town to make your vacation more workable.
