AVOID. This hostel is run by criminals.
Read below.
There is no receptionist in the hostel. The administrator Nino or Neno - (a short at 1 m 60, greasy guy in green t shirt on photo,)who was sleeping at 2pm daytime was awaken and threw me out refusing to reimburse already paid accommodation.
The reason he threw me out is that they didn't like how I demanded basic amenities (there was no electricity and no explanation why it's so and no possibility to contact the actual owner.
Nino tried to kick me and rudely touched me throwing me out. The police is already informed. The trip com sales team promised to take this listing down.

The location is quite central but the room is cramped and toilets not very clean.

The hostel is located near the Independence Plaza and Basilica Minore Del Santo Nino. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The dorm is equipped with curtains and staircase for reaching the upper deck. Socket is available next to each bed.
Hot water seemed to be available from a separate boiler and needed to be mixed with cold water in a bucket.
Overall, I think the hostel is better than expected.

The hostel is located at a convenient location at downtown Cebu City (Osmena Boulevard) near the Independence Plaza. Easily walkable to the Basilica, Carbon Market, Fort San Pedro and National Museum of the Philippines - Cebu.
The bed in dorm has good privacy - independent lighting, curtains and socket.
Cleanliness in the dorm (air-conditioned) is good, but there are some flies in the non-air-conditioned area e.g. toilet, which is acceptable given the price.
