I booked our stay at Le Tamerici through The Sun £9.50 holidays. I have had many great stays through this promotion and this stay on the coast of Tuscany was no different. Our accommodation was basic but clean, came with little extras such as washing up liquid and bin bags. Our Eurocamp hosts were lovely and very helpful. I read a lot of reviews about miserable staff onsite in the bar/reception/restaurant but everyone has been super nice, big shout out to the lovely lady in the food shop, she is so smiley and helpful. Onsite during August it is busy here, the pool is very full up but everyone gives space and no one is rude. You have to pay for sunbeds, but you can pop a towel down and relax in the sun or the shade. The beach is a few minutes walk through the glorious pine woods, we are from Norfolk UK and it is just like walking from Holkham to Wells, if you know you know lol. The beach is dark sand that does not stick to you, the sea is warm with crashing waves, great to swim in. Cecina is just a few minutes walk from the beach, such a cute town with lots of great places to eat and drink, there are private beaches but we did not use them. In the evening this town comes to life for walking up and down, the Italians use the cool evenings to walk, chat and socialise. There is a little train that takes you to town from 9pm and back until around 12am. We had a day out at Aqua Village, it was fantastic, top tip, head to the back of the park to picnic as these is so much more space and privacy! This park is really great, we will definitely return to Cecina. Our next stop is Pisa, which is only an hour away on the train.

Small, friendly park, clean and well maintained. Such a shame about the pool area- we are a family of 15, hired 4 bungalows. We had a lovely time. We have had take seat several times which has been lovely. Staff generally very friendly. Only issue, complaint is that there is an area for chilling by the pool.you could hire sun longer for 9 euro per day for 2 beds and a shade or go to grass area. For nearly 2 weeks we brought beach chairs and used them no issue. However earlier today life guard approached and advised were were not allowed to use them stating that it was not allowed. It’s the same life guard who has been here for the last few days. He came over with a cigarette in his hand to tell us not to sit in chair. They suggested using a beach towel but we already have quite alot of bites and want to avoid sitting in grass! One of the party has been bitten and has lymes disease. I think it’s understandable we want to avoid the grass especially when we are causing no harm. We are sitting out the way of everyone in quiet area!!! Seemingly the weight of a sun longer is okay on the grass but weight of a small beach chair is not. Makes no sense! Such a shame.

I'll start by saying the positive notes of this place: pets allowed, large and clean pitches, clean common areas, clean pool water, courteous staff. Negative notes however... in the pool everyone does what they want, you go in to take a bath... and parents with their children invade the steps. Most of the time I had to go around the pool to gain access. Bar with cappuccinos, terrible croissants and cleanliness that leaves something to be desired. Let's move on to one of the most painful issues: bathrooms. Cleaning takes place after 7am, when people are already awake and starting to move back and forth on the freshly washed floor. When instead at 7 the bathrooms should already be clean. Organization is not the strong point of this. I ended up in the same shower 4 nights in a row and found the same hair stuck to the tiles for 4 nights in a row. Mold between the tile joints. Those bathrooms, they taste like everything except bleach. In some showers, coat hangers are broken, so you don't even have anywhere to hang your bathrobe. Whoever does the cleaning does it in very broad terms, but there is certainly not even a supervisor for checks

Introduction: we have been customers of the campsite for years and for our family "le tamarisk" is a place of the heart where we always feel good and always return willingly. Precisely for this reason we are very fond of this place, and it was a shame this year to see such a marked deterioration in services. Starting from the negative things. In two different periods we stayed both in a mobile home (July) and on a pitch with our caravan (August). The mobile home is comfortable but poorly maintained. The provision of crockery is essential, the air conditioning is not adjustable and can only be turned on by leaving the key inserted. Linen is not included (can be rented at extra cost). The pitches, depending on the area chosen, are quite large (others are really small and very close to each other). But even here maintenance is poor, leaf sweeping is not frequent and in the seasonal area many empty pitches are left to neglect. The public bathrooms reserved for campers are very dated (in the six years we have been coming there has never been any maintenance or improvement work). Toilet paper holders have been missing for years, and even the smallest supports for placing bottles or hanging towels are missing in the showers. The wifi doesn't work unless near the reception. The market and the bazaar, usually well stocked, this year had very little assortment (particularly the market). The restaurant, despite being discreet, has problems managing service times, especially when it comes to takeaway. The swimming pool is very beautiful but this year it was left a little too much to itself. The lifeguards never intervened to remind any of the users to respect others, allowing potentially dangerous and certainly very annoying situations to arise. There was no management of the umbrella and deckchair positions, which was promised to us several times but never kept, with the result that we had to adapt to staying in the free places rather than being assigned the requested position already when booking the stay. Finally, the real weak point this year was the animation. The choices of the campsite management have led to a constant reduction in the entertainment service over the years. This year we reached the lowest point and despite ongoing corrections we never achieved a sufficient service. In the week of maximum attendance - the August holiday - there were four animators, including the overwhelmingly oldest member of the staff, never engaging, for any age group. Making the minimum wage seemed to be the hallmark of the team manager. The other members did their best, but never achieved adequate results. If a campsite manager ever reads this review (but also the previous ones), they really should reconsider their choices for future years. I want it anyway

Great family campsite in a beautiful little coastal town. Well-kept campsite, quiet and reasonably lively. Great shops, bar, restaurant. Superb pine forest and free beach a few steps from the campsite. But: tourist area, expensive campsite, old bungalow that moves (not very stable), shooting gallery next door (we were able to go over it but it's really not our thing), noisy residence next door (but music stopped around midnight ). Paid deckchairs at the campsite swimming pool, shameful given the price of the reservation. Sheets although clean but full of stains, old blankets not changed between reservations. Next time I'll take my sheets rather than paying extra if it's not spotless. But overall stay enjoyed, we could come back, knowingly.

we stayed at this campsite in August 2022, overall the campsite is beautiful, we booked a mobile home so I cannot review the services dedicated to those who practice camping. The house was essential, but nothing was missing, the covered veranda was beautiful and above all ours enjoyed a beautiful shade, which made it even more pleasant. The pool is nice, but sometimes the water is a little cloudy, but even here we used little or nothing because we love the beach more and here, thanks to the pine forest, there is plenty to spare. Market for emergencies absolutely valid, especially for fresh bread in the morning, because for the restaurant I have nothing to say because we have never tried it even if I must say I have never seen so many people at the restaurant. Nice and shaded children's play area. We used the bike rental service, which made everything very comfortable and easy. In the evening we reached Cecina by bike and also the beloved area with inflatables, very close to the campsite. very comfortable bikes also for exploring the pine forest which is endless. I recommend booking the bikes in advance otherwise availability is not guaranteed in central periods. The only flaw, having a 5 year old child, was the entertainment dedicated to the little ones. As far as I've experienced practically nothing, the girls were more concentrated with the girls in order to have them do ballets and choreographies, I think for the evening shows. Not bad for us who were around so often, but for those who expect entertainment even for the little ones (especially boys) I feel like making this clarification. Very last thing for the services offered, the prices of 2022 were decidedly affordable, but this year I noticed a considerable increase of 30% which is why on balance it is worthwhile, in my very personal opinion, choosing other structures given the expense to be faced.

I really think it's the right compromise between relaxation and fun, with excellent value for money in my opinion. The campsite offers accommodation of all types and all decidedly neat and clean. Inside there are all the primary, fundamental services. Bar/restaurant service almost 24 hours a day with tobacconists, restaurant, bazaar and minimarket. If desired, there would be no need to leave the campsite. At the exit, beyond the road, there is a fantastic, very fresh and very clean pine forest, ideal for picnics and refreshing rides. Just beyond the pine forest there are vast free beaches, very clean. The icing on the cake of this place, however, remains in my opinion the animation! Always present but never intrusive! Nice, funny, friendly but also and above all great professionals! I don't want any of it but I have to give a couple of special thanks... to Arianna and Tonia from my daughter Giorgia... How much did she ask for you in the days following our return!! And to Alessandro and Tonia from me... you are truly professionals, highly trained but I have always perceived you as "friends". You manage to get into people's hearts, really! Thanks for everything guys, keep it up 💪

We decided to spend a relaxing weekend with our Camper. The campsite is very nice and equipped, shaded, swimming pool with discreet entertainment, bazaar, bar, grocery store and even a hairdresser!!!! The bathrooms need to be renovated a bit... The restaurant is really excellent (I recommend the pan, delicious) we were served by Sara who is truly the No. 1.
