New Camping le Tamerici

Introduction: we have been customers of the campsite for years and for our family "le tamarisk" is a place of the heart where we always feel good and always return willingly. Precisely for this reason we are very fond of this place, and it was a shame this year to see such a marked deterioration in services. Starting from the negative things. In two different periods we stayed both in a mobile home (July) and on a pitch with our caravan (August). The mobile home is comfortable but poorly maintained. The provision of crockery is essential, the air conditioning is not adjustable and can only be turned on by leaving the key inserted. Linen is not included (can be rented at extra cost). The pitches, depending on the area chosen, are quite large (others are really small and very close to each other). But even here maintenance is poor, leaf sweeping is not frequent and in the seasonal area many empty pitches are left to neglect. The public bathrooms reserved for campers are very dated (in the six years we have been coming there has never been any maintenance or improvement work). Toilet paper holders have been missing for years, and even the smallest supports for placing bottles or hanging towels are missing in the showers. The wifi doesn't work unless near the reception. The market and the bazaar, usually well stocked, this year had very little assortment (particularly the market). The restaurant, despite being discreet, has problems managing service times, especially when it comes to takeaway. The swimming pool is very beautiful but this year it was left a little too much to itself. The lifeguards never intervened to remind any of the users to respect others, allowing potentially dangerous and certainly very annoying situations to arise. There was no management of the umbrella and deckchair positions, which was promised to us several times but never kept, with the result that we had to adapt to staying in the free places rather than being assigned the requested position already when booking the stay. Finally, the real weak point this year was the animation. The choices of the campsite management have led to a constant reduction in the entertainment service over the years. This year we reached the lowest point and despite ongoing corrections we never achieved a sufficient service. In the week of maximum attendance - the August holiday - there were four animators, including the overwhelmingly oldest member of the staff, never engaging, for any age group. Making the minimum wage seemed to be the hallmark of the team manager. The other members did their best, but never achieved adequate results. If a campsite manager ever reads this review (but also the previous ones), they really should reconsider their choices for future years. I want it anyway

Great family campsite in a beautiful little coastal town. Well-kept campsite, quiet and reasonably lively. Great shops, bar, restaurant. Superb pine forest and free beach a few steps from the campsite. But: tourist area, expensive campsite, old bungalow that moves (not very stable), shooting gallery next door (we were able to go over it but it's really not our thing), noisy residence next door (but music stopped around midnight ). Paid deckchairs at the campsite swimming pool, shameful given the price of the reservation. Sheets although clean but full of stains, old blankets not changed between reservations. Next time I'll take my sheets rather than paying extra if it's not spotless. But overall stay enjoyed, we could come back, knowingly.

I really think it's the right compromise between relaxation and fun, with excellent value for money in my opinion. The campsite offers accommodation of all types and all decidedly neat and clean. Inside there are all the primary, fundamental services. Bar/restaurant service almost 24 hours a day with tobacconists, restaurant, bazaar and minimarket. If desired, there would be no need to leave the campsite. At the exit, beyond the road, there is a fantastic, very fresh and very clean pine forest, ideal for picnics and refreshing rides. Just beyond the pine forest there are vast free beaches, very clean. The icing on the cake of this place, however, remains in my opinion the animation! Always present but never intrusive! Nice, funny, friendly but also and above all great professionals! I don't want any of it but I have to give a couple of special thanks... to Arianna and Tonia from my daughter Giorgia... How much did she ask for you in the days following our return!! And to Alessandro and Tonia from me... you are truly professionals, highly trained but I have always perceived you as "friends". You manage to get into people's hearts, really! Thanks for everything guys, keep it up 💪

We decided to spend a relaxing weekend with our Camper. The campsite is very nice and equipped, shaded, swimming pool with discreet entertainment, bazaar, bar, grocery store and even a hairdresser!!!! The bathrooms need to be renovated a bit... The restaurant is really excellent (I recommend the pan, delicious) we were served by Sara who is truly the No. 1.
