Stayed at Villa Gaia, Cefalu a few times in the past. Was very disappointed this time. In need of repair, The bathroom shower which is featured in their photos is non-functioning and all the hardware is rusted. Front desk receptionist was very deceitful with regard to rooms that were discussed previously on the phone. Switch and Bait!! We were very unhappy with our room.

This hotel is worn out. It needs repairs and updates. The breakfast is lacking, and gnats were flying inside the food cases. The woman at the front desk seemed bothered by any interaction with guests. Wifi is terrible and electrical plugs are lacking.

Location, location, location. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the beach and includes a pass for two lounge chairs on the beach. It's clean and the staff are friendly. The rooms are large, and the ones with an ocean view are really lovely. You can eat your breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean. You can walk everywhere in town right from your front door.

I stayed at the Villa Gaia hotel in late June and found it to be a really welcoming and clean place. Courtesy of the staff, especially Giuseppe who greeted us every evening with a smile and was able to direct us to places to visit in Cefalù and where to eat typical dishes. Hearty and varied breakfast, spacious and always clean room, quiet hotel very close to the sea and useful services. See you next vacation

Un hotel sans prétention mais bien placé juste en face de la plage et à 10 minutes a pieds du centre. Le personnel est accueillant. Le buffet petit déjeuner est correct et varié. Chambre spacieuse avec balcon mais salle de bain un peu vieillotte, tuyau de douche rouillé et rideau en plastique. Les portes d’accès au balcon sont ressentes et isolent bien de l’extérieur.

hôtel du siècle dernier: triste ,accueil distend, décoration ringarde, petit déjeuner sommaire. Dernier et huitième hôtel du voyage en Sicile: très inférieur aux autres. Avantages dans une ville très encombrée: parking gratuit adjacent et promenade à pied en bord de mer pour joindre la ville pittoresque, parlent le français.

Hotel in ottima posizione. Camere confortevoli. Colazione molto abbondante. Esperienza negativa per quanto riguarda il costo della camera. Ho telefonato direttamente in Hotel e, nel giro di 10 minuti (con due operatori diversi), sono stati fatti prezzi differenti. Nel frattempo era sparito dal sito il prezzo molto concorrenziale. Ho comunque prenotato, visto che mancava meno di una settimana al mio arrivo. L'albergo era praticamente vuoto e, una volta arrivata, mi sono accorta che sul sito era riportato il prezzo basso. Ho chiesto info. L'addetta, scocciata, mi ha risposto in modo molto confuso che si trattava dello sconto Genius (ma la struttura non è su Booking). Poi, non sapendo che pesci pigliare, mi ha detto che si vuole favorire i clienti che prenotano sul sito e non che telefonano. (?!) Buono a sapersi per le prossime volte. Ma una differenza da 60 Euro a notte a 34 Euro (prezzo ballerino sul loro sito che compare e scompare a piacimento) per una camera anche più bella, mi sembra una presa in giro. Non ho fatto storie, ma mio sarei aspettata una risposta diversa ed un comportamento più professionale, magari venendo un po' incontro al cliente. Peccato, perchè la struttura non è male, dispone anche di un parcheggio privato ed è sul lungomare.

Punti di forza dell'albergo sono la posizione di fronte al mare con spiaggia privata ed il parcheggio privato, tutto compresi nel prezzo. Valida anche la colazione, con ampia scelta di dolce, salato e frutta. Camera e bagno un po' piccoli, nel complesso puliti nonostante un certo strato di polvere. Non è presente il terrazzo, ma la finestra aveva la tapparella. La zona di notte è nel complesso silenziosa. Prezzi nella media considerando la presenza della spiaggia privata

Petit hôtel en bord de mer à Cefalù, non loin du centre historique. 12 chambres, un parking gratuit, ce qui est un plus à Cefalù. Chambre spacieuse avec terrasse et vue sur la mer. Literie confortable. Cet hôtel a dû être moderne dans les années 2000. Bcp d'interrupteurs et de gadgets. Mais, décadent quelque peu aujourd'hui. Poignée de la porte fenêtre cassée. Volets roulants qui ne ferment plus bien, douche vieillissante... Bcp de détails qui montrent un manque d'entretien. Une petite rénovation s'impose. Pas d'ascenseur. Cependnt l'emplacement et la gentillesse du personnel font oublié cet aspect.
