We visited hotel southern on Jan 20-22 of 2025. , with family and 2 kids. Aged 7 and 10. We took the family suite. We read the reviews posted earlier and were sceptical but since my parents had insisted upon their experience , we decided to stay here. The room was nice and clean. There were two single beds for the kids and one double bed for us. Not much walk around space after that., but we needed that sleep space after a tiresome day of travel. The bathrooms were clean and had hot water whenever we needed . The linen and supplies were to our satisfaction. The breakfast spread was good for southindians. There was parantha and bread as well. We booked our delhi local tours from them for a very reasonable price. Everything was smooth and good. I totally recommend this .It's a very old hotel , with room very close by but decently maintained and the rooms being close by didn't cause any issue for us.

Hotel southern has good ambience and food. I would recommend non locals to stay here for comfortable stay.

Worst response and behaviour of staff is very rude. Lift will not work after 9pm. You hv to go by stepa even you stay in 4th floor.

Absolutely incredible stay at hotel southern from the moment i arrived, i was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure everything was perfect. The rooms were not only spotless but also elegantly designed for comfort and style. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the thoughtful amenities, was top-notch. The dining experience was exceptional at masala restaurant and the food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The location was ideal, and staff is so supportive

‘royal southern’ room was spacious, check in and check out was smooth. Breakfast buffet spread ok. Room service good, overall great service.

The annexure building is horrible, its not at all 3 star, hotel board in different place and they send in different building
