AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location and the room is a good size. However, when checking in, the front desk said that the room needs a guarantee, which is not allowed now. The credit card can only be used by the credit card of the person who made the reservation. When did this rule come into effect? Is it a rule for all Best Western hotels or just this hotel? The front desk said that this rule has been in place since he started working here. It is simply speechless and unreasonable. Can't I stay if someone else makes a reservation? I hope it is not a rule for a certain group of people! The next day we went to another Best Western that was booked in advance. There was no problem with giving cash as a guarantee. According to the front desk, he had never heard of this rule, which directly slapped the face of this Baker Street hotel!

Bbdawwg 017Nice hotel, clean and good size rooms. A bit out of the way in comparison to town. We were traveling with a large group and some hotel staff were accusing us of poor behavior even though we specifically told them we weren't part of the group they thought we were. Didn't matter though, the hotel staff in the hallways treated our children poorly, threatening them and were yelling at them for walking down the hallway to another room, even though the gentleman at the front desk didn't even know the kids were walking past when they did, we asked him. We made sure kids were in their rooms before 11 and we were on the 1st floor. Amenities were nice and Ricky's restaurant next door was convenient. However because of the poor treatment, we will not be back.

GGuest UserThe beds were superb for comfort. Room was clean. Bathroom was spotless. A bit of routine maintenance needed for a leaking bath tub faucet and the inside of the sink overflow drain should be sanitized and cleaned out. Plenty of hot water! Our keycard had to be replaced twice due to none function. Certainly would stay again.

SShanGreat renovated hotel in Nelson BC. Very clean lovely new large screen TV. The staff was wonderful. Went over the top to assist us. Price was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Great views of mountains everywhere

JJohnFor the price of this hotel I was very satisfied. Service wasn’t all it could be, probably because there was only one person on the front desk. SHe was overworked. That being said she was efficient. I needed some room service finally gave up on it as she was too busy. Other than that, it was equal to places twice the price. Dairy Queen is close by as well.
