Leopardsong Manor

Brief overnight stay before driving to safari - very clean, friendly and excellent room (large deep soak bath behind bed, nice balcony, comfortable bed - only possible negative for some, the toilet is in the bedroom within a frosted glass shower enclosure - so you need to be comfortable with whoever you share the room. Reservation re location, most people seem to drive to the restaurant / country club - where we prefer to walk. Located in high security gated estate with free parking.

The hotel has an adorable maroccan style and is located in a very safe area of Centurion. The staff was adorable and so helpful to explain and giving direction. Was lovely that once I’ve back in the room after dinner they prepared my bed for bedtime, opened the heater and left me the dental kit a long with a nice small chocolate block. Breakfast as well was very delicious and served at Zagora restaurant which has very chilled vibes. No idea if I will be back soon in South Africa but if I will do, I will choose once again to stay with them.

Hotel does not deserve a 4 star rating. No staff in attendance at reception to check in. Had to go and look for staff. No lift to higher floor- only stairs and had to ask the person checking me in at reception to help me with my luggage. Air conditioning in room didn’t work and when I requested to move rooms I was told that they could only offer a downgrade to a poky hot room. Could not offer the same or upgraded room as the hotel was apparently fully booked even though it showed availability on various booking sites. I informed that I am not prepared to stay in the property without working air-conditioning (around 32 degrees Celsius) and that I would rather move to another hotel since I booked and paid for an air conditioned room. Refused to reverse charges on my credit card with the excuse that they can only process a refund at the end of the month.

The rooms were exceptionally clean. The weather was good and I had a lifetime experience at the Centurion Legacy hotel. Management was good and the rooms are sound proof hence one can experience a peaceful sleep. This is a must visit hotel when you visit Pretoria.

Not your typical 'Marriott' hotel or management style. Nice African layout and calming a**osphere! Great location for Jo'Burg airport but tucked away within the suburbs that you don't experience the mad hustle/bustle of Pretoria. Booked through a booking website rather than directly, so got a great deal on a forest-facing room. Bath and walk-in 'rainforest' shower. Separate toilet. Spacious room with all amenities. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Good quality food and choice of menu. I also had time to use the beauty spa before heading out on Safari. Great service and peaceful, away from the main hotel. What I did like (that speeded up check-out) was that you pay for everything on card at the 'outlet' every time you visit, ie in the bar, restaurant, at breakfast etc. I think they have a policy of 'no cash' to keep people safe etc.

I think you must train some of your waters to be friendly and to learn to greet customers. The waitress who was working on tha monday morning did not greed us ,she just asked us what we wanted to eat and it took her about 30 min just to bring me hot milk and make some tea and when she brought milk it was not hot When we leave the dining she didn't even bother to ask if we enjoyed the breakfast or not.Another thing is that i did not enjoy supper .my advise is to call customers and find out what they prefer to eat so that you prepare before their arrival because at break fast i asked for fruit salad but it was not no there and that is my preference.
