A small hotel in Rennes. The room was very small, there was not even 30 cm of space from the wall to the bed. The door to the room was cracked at the floor. The room was dirty, with a lot of dust. There was garbage in the bathroom, dirty bathroom. The tables in the restaurant were very narrow and the food trays were dirty. The staff is unprofessional, scattered, disorganized. I do not recommend staying in this hotel.

We stayed here in April as we were travelling through France from Caen. The staff were functional and reasonably efficient but lacked any warmth and limited English too. No onsight food meant we had to go out for a meal and th breakfast offering was way overpriced, so we diclined. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy, but no tea or coffee facilities in the room made the stay less comfortable, but was available in the Ibis in Portsmouth! Wouldn't rush to revisit.

Arriving on Friday evening, I found the welcome correct and the room clean and pleasant. I had a very good night. Saturday morning breakfast was varied. It started to get bad when I came home late at night and my card wouldn't open my room door. Since the receptionist was not visible, I had to go out to ring the bell. Sunday morning breakfast was a disaster: I arrived around 10am. There were no clean or cleared tables left. There was a lack of products on the buffet: no more bread, no more small cups to take jams, a puddle of water in front of the fountain. …I managed to find a clean corner of the table and ate two madeleines and had a coffee. The person who was there preferred to look at their cell phone than clean the tables or mop up the water on the floor. The TV broadcasts CNews which we all know is not politically neutral. Returned later to pay my bill the tables were still not clean Anyway, it's disappointing and it's a shame

Alright. Clean, welcoming and really lovely team. Even the carpet is clean. Courtepaille restaurant 50 meters away with discount for hotel guests. Water fountain available to fill your bottle. Nothing to say, well done!

A “pure” ibis with a very professional and smiling welcome. I stay there from time to time, and I am never disappointed. A Courtepaille restaurant is right next door with a 10% reduction for hotel guests. The only downside is that you have to ask for the welcome drink which is never spontaneously offered unlike other establishments.

Pas si facile à trouver, mais excellent accueil à la réception. Couchage de qualité avec un grand lit. La chambre est propre ainsi que la salle de bain. Les traces de moisissure dans la douche ne sont pas très glamour. Grand parking non gardé.

Idéalement situé sur notre route, cette nuit chez Ibis s’annonçait sous les meilleurs auspices. La reception 24/24 nous permettait de nous arrêter en pleine nuit et de repartir tôt le matin. Bref le plan parfait sauf que …. Arrivés à la double porte d’entrée celle ci est verrouillée. Nous sonnons à l’interphone, et attendons patiemment le veilleur de nuit. Loin de veiller pour attendre ses hôtes, celui ci arrive un bon moment plus tard, complètement abruti par le sommeil. Peu courtois, il passe ensuite un long moment en silence sur son PC et finit par nous tendre nos cartes, déjà prêtes à coté du PC. 15 minutes entre le parking et la porte de la chambre. C’est très long à 1h du matin. Au réveil, c’est la douche froide. Au sens propre : pas d’eau chaude à la douche. Toilette de chat et direction le petit déjeuner. La seule réponse au problème d’eau froide, est : "c’est le disjoncteur qui a encore sauté, désolé" Sans vouloir faire le donneur de leçon, je pense qu’un disjoncteur qui a ENCORE sauté mérite d’être remplacé, ou tout au moins, si une intervention technique n’est pas possible (week-end), surveillé de très près. Je pense aussi que le veilleur de nuit est censé veiller pour attendre ses hôtes et non dormir. C’est très dommage, d’habitude les hotels ibis sont accueillants et chaleureux. Va t il falloir changer nos habitudes ?????
