Full kitchen opens to a charming living room/dining room combo with a massive stone hearth and new gas fireplace!Two comfortable bedrooms and a lofted space make a cozy stay for 7. The lofted space has two twin beds and a twin-sized futon. Access this overflow sleeping space using a sturdy ladder. The ladder that leads to the loft is fixed in place but is not suitable for children to climb. The loft has low railings and is not suitable for children to sleep or play in. The top of the ladder has a wire going across it—the cabin was built in the 1930s and has been fully redone, but to keep the original structure, supports needed to be installed.A claw foot tub/shower combo completes the 1930s feel. Large windows and a screened in front porch look out to Three Cornered Pond. Relax in adirondacks on the water with your morning coffee or afternoon beverage. Two docks and two kayaks to explore the waterfront. Although we are on a "pond," that term is used differently in Maine than it may be in other areas. The water is clear, not murky, and comparable to a small lake with a sandy bottom where you walk into the water.Whether you’re swimming, sunbathing, or reading, there is something for you and your family or friends here! Please be aware that the cabin does not have access to a boat launch and launching a boat into the property is not possible. Also, the docks may not be in the water if you are staying in May or the end of October, but you will have full access to the beautiful waterfront.
