If you just want to relax and stay in the cozy cabin, our living room has a couch with two recliners and one recliner chair where you can have a glass of wine by the gas fireplace with just a push of a button or watch your favorite shows on cable TV (125+ channels). Here, we don't have the rain or snow satellite and internet worries. You can stay connected with reliable 300 Mbps WiFi (!!!!) throughout the entire house. If you need a little get away head up to the large loft area to read a book and enjoy the views. Head outside to the large covered deck area, sit in a rocking chair where you'll want to spend time listening to the birds and taking in the views, have your coffee as you watch the elk stroll through the neighborhood as they often do. There’s also a gas grill on the deck so you can take full advantage of this outdoor space. Plus, you'll have a full sized washer and dryer, which is incredibly convenient for extended stays.We have a motion sensor camera outside on the corner of the exterior deck for security purposes when the cabin is not rented. It will be turned off once you arrive and during your stay.Access/Parking:We want to have our guests have easy access to the Smoky Mountains without the worry of scary mountain drives or getting stuck! No worries here, with paved roads that are plowed in the winter by the city for easy car and motorcycle access year round. At 4,000ft elevation, The Overlook is conveniently located to Maggie Valley, downtown Waynesville, & the MVCC golf course! As a bonus, it even has an EV Outlet! (Bring your chargers) Designed with families and small groups in mind, The Overlook includes a hot tub, fire table/gas fireplace, propane grill, and a separate glass-surround sitting room off the primary bedroom.THE SPACEImagine yourself overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Country Club golf course in this brand-new modern cabin. There are two decks upon which you can soak in the glorious mountain sunrises while relaxing with your favorite beverage. The Overlook has an open floor plan, incredible east/southeast-facing views of the mountains, vaulted ceilings, tons of natural light, and sleeps up to 8 people comfortably! The large windows in every room of the cabin creates a "Treehouse" feeling, especially in the main entertaining areas.The main floor has a gas fireplace, full living, dining and a chef's kitchen with vaulted ceilings and tons of natural light. The primary bedroom/full bath, along with a half bath off living room, are also located on the main floor. The lower level has 2 large bedrooms, a bar space, wine refrigerator, pool table, along with a full bath. You are just minutes from the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds, Cataloochee Ranch/Ski Resort, hiking/biking, restaurants, and shopping. We have a fully-stocked kitchen equipped with chef's gas stove for those that desire to cook every meal at home. There's also a propane grill on the porch for the grill masters of the group. For coffee lovers, we have a Keurig/drip coffeemaker. There's also a Turkish Coffee Maker, French Press and tea pot available in the Coffee Bar. All bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and towels. Bedrooms and bathrooms are supplied with linen and towels.We have a large paved driveway that comfortably holds four vehicles, along with turning-radius space. There's an EV charging station at the front right of the cabin for those with electric/hybrid vehicles. We are currently not a pet-friendly cabin. We appreciate your understanding.BEDROOM 1A Large King bedroom with attached private full bathroom with walk-in shower. The morning views are stunning from this bedroom.
