We would have rated our stay more highly as the staff were friendly and the location suited us BUT we booked on the basis that the hotel website boasts of an outdoor pool. It does indeed have a pool which looked clean and inviting and the temperature outside was 29 BUT it was not yet June so despite it being very hot and a three day holiday weekend in France 27th to 29th May it was not available. Needless to say there is no mention of that on the website so don't believe what you read. Ibis should know better and be more adaptable - it's not rocket science.

At this Hotel you Will always feel welcome. The reception welcome you and you feel at Home and vers welcome . The restaurant is workshop class . . I’m looking forward to dinner when I arrive … and in the morning a great breakfast … In the summer time the pool is a good place to relax .. And Chalon Sur Saône is in the heart of some of the world best wine producers ..

Les chambres ne sont pas du niveau d’un ibis rouge! Vétuste… quand nous sommes platinium chez accor, la réception ne semble pas savoir à quoi cela correspond. Ils demandent emprunte de la cb quand le règlement est déjà effectué ?? Une ambiance pas très courtoise, même à la partie restaurant.

« Chaque visite dans cet hôtel-restaurant est un véritable plaisir ! L’accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux et bienveillant, on se sent comme chez soi dès l’arrivée. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, toujours prêt à rendre service avec le sourire. Les chambres sont impeccables.C’est un véritable bonheur de revenir à chaque fois, car on sait qu’on sera toujours accueillis avec autant de soin et d’attention. Personnel très accueillant. Pas mal de choix au déjeuner et les plats que j’ai manger au restaurant étaient de bon à très bons. Par contre j’ai eu un soucis dans la chambre, qui à été vérifié et communiqué au service nécessaire pour régler le soucis. Malheureusement j’ai eu une promesse de geste par la direction qui n’a pas été tenue. C’est dommage.

Auf die Fahrt nach Alicante nehmen wir dieses IBIS gerne als Zwischenstopp. Das Personal ist freundlich und gewandt. Die Restauration etwas chaotisch aber sehr hilfsbereit! Das Restaurant selbst bietet alles, was die französische Küche hergibt. Angenehmes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis! Die Zimmer renoviert und angenehm! Wir übernachten wenn es geht immer bei IBIS, wobei dies in Chalon Sur Saone unbestritten die Nummer eins ist
