The room was large and beautiful, with a great view. The room was also very new and super clean. The staff were extremely attentive and always provided everything we needed, and they even remembered what we liked for breakfast. 小方 and 思思 were very helpful with matters ranging from the hotel to booking tours. The breakfast had a good variety of food and everything tasted delicious.

Location, view and modern design and infrastructure are main attractive parts of this hotel. Swimming pool is very decent too.
Whilst the service is overall good and at par of those of 5-star hotels, I was not particularly happy about the room upgrade where after I decided to pay 250 yuan, but only to get a very narrow view of the river, which was way below my expectation. It would be great if the front desk staff could tip me about this condition. Everything was good.

Excellent breakfast. Very high standard food. We had a river view room. It's amazing. Perfect location for all actions. Night life is just around the corner but not disturbed as hotel is located 48 storey high.

The second stop in Changsha was the Park Hyatt Changsha, which is also owned by Hyatt. The hotel is positioned higher than the Grand Hyatt. It is located on the 54th to 63rd floors of Tower 2 of IFS Guojin Center, and is far away from the Changsha Niccolo Hotel # located in Tower 1.
